My friends and I went to Sammies. They were great! My mind was blown! They have to be the best sandwich place I’ve ever been to. I had the stacked corned beef sandwich and I could only eat half of it. When they say stacked, you better belive it! I was also totally impressed with the smores cookie, truly the best, warm, fresh, moist, delicious cookie I’ve ever eaten! I love this place and I will definitely be back!

Got there around 8:45 pm, the open sign was on and the door was unlocked. The worker said they were actually closed. There were about 8 or 10 people in the store. The worker and what looked to be her family were having a pizza party. When I left there they never shut off the open sign or locked the door. I won’t be back!!!

The cordon Blue was excellent, lots of meat and jucy. The BLT has 10 strips of bacon . First times should pick one of the fan favorites marked on the menu. Most impressive was our 4 year old who polished off his P&J , he usually only bites the middle.

We’ve been traveling through Union City multiple times a year for the past 13 years. We always look forward to stopping at Sammie’s. The food and service always great and a relaxing friendly atmosphere. However, today, August 18 at 2:00 pmthe music was so loud, that we could hardly hear the person taking our order and having a conversation at the table was difficult. It made the whole experience unpleasant. I realize the staff may not be able to hear their music over the vent hood, but consider your customers and take out the speakers in the dining area. If I wanted to hear music that loud, I’d go to a bar.

I enjoy Sammies. I do not get to go often but it is worth the drive. I got the Bacon Mac and Cheese and Honey Mustard Chicken Sub. The mac and cheese was delicious …and had a nice crisp too the cooked cheese but gooey on the inside. The sub was a little messy with honey mustard and the chicken pieces kept falling out but nothing a fork couldn’t fix.
