I recently stopped at Pancheros Mexican Grill and had a satisfying lunch experience. I opted for a Bowl, which allowed me to customize my meal with all my favorite ingredients. I added salsa and chips to complement the flavors and topped it off with a refreshing Orange fountain drink. The visit today checked all the boxes for me:

Pancheros Mexican Grill delivers on good food and consistent flavors. It’s a ‘Chipotle’ style setup where you walk up and customize your meal by selecting from various ingredients, and after a couple of visits, I can confirm that the taste is reliably solid. I would prefer it over Chipotle actually.
The atmosphere at this location falls a bit short. The staff could use a crash course in friendliness—there’s minimal interaction, no warm greetings, and not a smile in sight. Especially during my first visit, I felt more like I was an inconvenience than enjoying a dining experience.
Overall, Pancheros is a good spot to grab a quick bite, with plenty of flavors that won’t disappoint. Moses recommends giving it a try but wishes the vibe matched the quality of the food.

Not sure how this place competes against Chipotle. I’m not even a fan of Chipotle and thought this place would be different. It literally is 95% the same. Unfortunately where it’s different, it’s lesser.
Ordered the chips and guacamole. Chips were like the ones you find at the bottom of the bag… all busted up. Ordered the chicken bowls and it was decent but I feel it has less protein than the competition. This place brings nothing interesting or better which is unfortunate.
Won’t be coming back to this location or other locations because there’s a lot of alternatives.

I have NO PROBLEM with people speaking something other than American English. However, when its the cashier and she cant talk or understand what your saying, then thats a problem. Luckily the food preparer spoke more English and translated to and for her.
The food was great!! Loved that the meat wasnt over salted like the OTHER places like this. The food preparer was on top of his game. I like and appreciated how, with the burrito option, before he rolled it up, he mixed all the Ingredients so u dont get a bite full of sour cream only! It was consistant thru out!
The dining room was clean and inviting.

What happened to this place???? The employees used to be more friendlier and helpful. Lately every time I come to this location there seems to be new staff and the overall vibe feels much more rushed. The food is still okay, but the atmosphere isn’t what it used to be and it definitely shows in the service. Only reason i preferred this location than the fridley is due to the staff hospitality but that seems to have faded away.

I got the burrito at Panchero’s. The ingredients seemed very fresh and they were tasty. My favorite part is that they mix the ingredients together before folding the burrito. Also the fresh made tortilla is amazing. For some reason it was cold when I ate it though.
