I had the privilege of enjoying a variety of tasty savory dishes at a catered event. The food was skillfully prepared and delicious. There were a variety of dishes to choose from: pasta and rice dishes, patties were perfectly done without being overly spicy. The owner, Rosemary, is a delight putting a lot of love and attention to detail into her cuisine.

I’d be damned if I return back to this place after ordering a medium oxtail plate for $22 and receiving a small cafeteria lunch plate with 3 meats with one just being BONE! That’s just robbery. I look forward to when my go to spot (Shawni’s Caribbean cuisine from down the street) opens back up because they will never treat people like this.

I use to come here all the time. I love their food but they’re very stingy with their food. I recently came back maybe 2 weeks ago and i ordered a medium oxtail because they only serve medium or large. I saw how little was in there for almost $20, and i get it’s expensive but the serving is crazy. The nice cashier lady (wasn’t there today) gave me more, what i feel should’ve been in there already. Today i go in, order a medium the same girl isn’t at the front. I look it’s barely anything in there for $20 she gives me more it looks okay. I go to my car to eat and I see that for what I paid for that’s a small serving. I call as I’m sitting in front and ask how many pieces they give, the girl went back and forth about if you get tail end pieces you get more etc. Also that she served my plate so she knows what she put in there. This for $20 is crazy, the only big piece I have in my platter has mostly fat the other pieces are visibly smaller. Love their food and customer service but this is not enough!

Food was TERRIBLE! Red pea soup tasted like all spice no meat in it just bones and there medium portion is truly a small. The jerk patty has a cheap jerk seasoning and no real flavor also VERY DRY! Carrot juice also water and only taste like essence. If you want real quality Jamaican food stay away from

Please do not eat from here . I ordered Jerk Chicken Mac and cheese and rice and peas . Food tastes old and no flavor. I personally called the restaurant and told them. I usually don’t do reviews but I created a Google account just for this bad experience I wouldn’t eat here for free

Call the health department. I picked up soup from this restaurant today and the soup was sour sour sour To the point that it had rainbow bubbles in it smh. I will never eat here again. Yes they’re good at catering, but they’re not getting enough service and instead of them cooking fresh food every day it seems like they’re recycling meals so they don’t have to waste it. This was a huge disappointment.

I will not return to this place. I ordered a med oxtail dinner and I paid a whopping $29. Honestly speaking I don’t mind spending $ as long as I get what I paid for. I only got 4 pieces of oxtails and 2 of them was mainly bones, no meat. The server was not professional. I don’t like restaurants where the food taste and amount is inconsistent. I know the price of meat has gone up but damn, if you want people to support your business be fair with all your customers not just those who you like. Won’t be back.
