Went into the West Hartford location today and truly had one of my most amazing burger experiences. The food was fantastic, but what made it even better was the energy, compassion, and commitment of each staff member. Their interactions with their younger customers, goofy spirit, and dedication to an EXPERIENCE rather than a meal is something that should be praised!

Today was my first time visiting this Five Guys, and the customer service was terrible. The staff seemed annoyed the entire time while taking my order. It made the experience very uncomfortable. I live just one minute away, but I don’t plan on coming back. I’d rather drive farther to go to McDonald’s.

Dear Five Guys Corporate Team,
I am writing to lodge a strong complaint about the unprofessional and offensive behavior of three employees at your 316 North Main, West Hartford, 06511 restaurant on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. While I was seated enjoying my meal, a DoorDasher entered to pick up an order. As he exited professionally, three Black male employees—two appearing 50-60 years old and one in his 20s—made derogatory remarks about him, gossiping loudly about his appearance, calling him “slow,” and criticizing his attire.
This conduct was deeply offensive and unacceptable, especially as I have experience working with special needs children and recognize such comments as discriminatory and harmful.
Employees in a low-wage role like grilling burgers and bagging fries have no right to belittle others, calling people slow, or criticizing on how doordashers or customers dress..particularly the older staff who should know better. This incident disrupted my dining experience and reflects poorly on your brand’s commitment to respect and inclusivity.
I demand a thorough investigation, disciplinary action against these individuals, and training on workplace professionalism and anti-discrimination policies. Please respond within 14 days with details of the steps taken.

Visited this location recently. Ordered 6 burgers. 5 of the 6 had the wrong ingredients. I don’t think they paid attention to what was ordered, just did their own thing. They also forgot the 2 beverages for the order. Their customer service skills are non existent including the manager, Sheldon.

This is the second time I have tried Five Guys and there is nothing wrong with this location. Check your order though, as I had a small order and the shake was forgotten. The reason I have only 3 stars is they only have 1 type of fry (it is all real potato), and the bacon burger is good but I can get a better burger for the price approx $7.50, shake $5.00, fries $4.50.

I had a bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries. It was delicious. I would have given it five stars but I found it a little expensive. It’s an okay place but nothing to write home about. The menu is not intuitive for new comers. Good thing is, they cook your food in front of you, that is always a plus. The stars are really for the bacon cheeseburger. It was a twelve dollar burger; just the burger.

Go to make the French fries, suddenly I realise him take the French fries from white packet no gloves nothing who know what he did before, I thought in this moment I will throw up,
I left in shock was so gross, what the point to use gloves after if in the same moment u use all ur hands inside packet full of water where was the French fries, God so gross, I don’t eat a lot of meat so only five guys and chipotle it’s my places,
Do better Five guys u burger it’s enough expensive to do something like this, and also with ur employees to act like this.
