I went a little while back and loved this place. They have fun drinks and I always get to try something new. Love supporting local coffee shops ❤️.
However, in recent months every time I’ve walked in I get hit with a pungent smell that makes the whole place feel unclean and dirty. Due to that, I’ll probably avoid stopping by unless it’s the only place open. If I’m just not the crowd you want to attract, that’s fine, but I would definitely recommend more thorough cleaning/vacuuming of the upholstery and some fragrance first-aid ✨
Other than that, the music is always a hilarious mix of genres and it’s a unique vibe that helps to mix up my routine in a great way!

I’ve been coming here since they opened and it was and always will be my favorite coffee shop!! I moved out of town and will still drive the hour just to get a salty dog or sitting bear claw, they even give my kiddo his own cup of whip cream and make him a “kids coffee” to match me. (It’s just chocolate milk with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, Don’t come for me Karen) Some times they even have my order already rang up and started by the time I get to the counter. 10 outta 10 would recommend! But beware Karen’s! At this coffee shop, your attitude and demanding nature will not be tolerated here, the owner has an amazing sassy personality of her own with quick wit responses and does NOT take any shit so ♀️ your bitchy tactics won’t work here!

If you’re a coffee lover, you have to check out this cozy little coffee shop owned by a veteran! The coffee here is absolutely exceptional, and the atmosphere is just so inviting and charming. I can’t recommend it enough!

I have seen a decline on the volume of coffee used when creating the Hot Lattes and Iced Lattes. Both beverages taste like milk, alone.
The staff is amazingly friendly but will need to reconsider the quantity of the coffee offered.
For years I loved the coffee, please consider this recommendation.
I hope to see an improvement soon.

I visited Salvation Coffee Co. for the first time over the weekend. They are very friendly and the coffee was AMAZING! I got a coffee to go from the refrigerated section of their establishment and it was also amazing! I love that you can purchase premade lattes that can be enjoyed at home (genius idea). When I’m back in that area I’ll definitely go back.

Best coffee in the Triad! The atmosphere is fun, the coffee is fantastic, it’s a great place to check out and try something new. When you do, get the Salty Dog, cold, with white chocolate…

First time visiting this cool coffee shop. The staff was very knowledgeable about their drink selections, made some great recommendations, and always had a smile on their face. The establishment itself is nice and cozy with a subtle ambiance. They have awesome Merch you can buy. This is definitely worth a visit if you’re around town

The coffee itself is alright, definitely overpriced for what it is. The managing staff is super money hungry and disrespectful. I try to go there every Sunday morning to get some work done for 2 hours since I have to be in Burlington, and I sit there and bother absolutely NOBODY. But staff will consistently bother you telling you that you need to purchase something to use their horrible 10mbps wifi, which I totally understand. I get there around 11am, and leave at 1 and I usually like to order something at 12-12:30, and of course they bothered me telling me to buy something which I did. As soon as I bought their overpriced coffee, they turn off the wifi and I had to leave. Thank God I had autosave turned on on what I was working on, because if I had lost something in the process I would have 100% taken legal action with a lawyer, since I have every right too. I’m definitely disputing that charge for that coffee, since I was lied to by not having access to the wifi after buying, and I advise anyone to not go there especially if you plan on staying inside- it’s super cold , loud, and dark anyways. Terrible service.
Edit: I’ve always bought something when asked. You guys turned it off after I bought something, and that is why the dispute worked in my favor. You people are money hungry, and your staff looks soulless -God knows how horrible you people treat them. I stopped tipping because I had suspicion yall were stealing their tips too. Do better

My family and I have gone to Salvation for over a year. Their coffee is delicious for the most part, but it depends on who is making it. Also, their environment for being a “Veteran Owned” business is more like an Emo/punk rock music festival. There is a young lady with blonde hair who works there , usually in the mornings, who always makes an excellent cup of coffee, and is usually there when country music is on. She deserves a five star rating! Unless she is working, my experience has been mediocre to poor, due to the Emo punk rock blaring from the speakers to the point you can’t have a conversation of even think, coffee being made inconsistently by other employees, and a woman, older than all the other employees, being snarky to my mom for no reason. It needs a more Patriotic environment, and less punky edge.
