Dee Dee’s new location is on Brodie at Leona Cafe, it’s a stunning setting! They are now open for lunch and dinner. We ordered online ahead of arriving in case there was a wait but it ended up not taking very long fortunately. The parking at leona is pretty limited so I would come during an off hour. The food is good. I enjoyed the pad kaprow and the fried chicken as well as the dessert. They do have more of a limited menu during lunch hours, so I will need to come back during dinner to try more of their items.

The Pad GaPow is hearty, spicy, and a generous portion. The menu is limited, but still has a decent variety. Great atmosphere in the Leona botanical courtyard, which also hosts the Leona Cafe and Bar, Veracruz tacos, and supposedly there’s a burger place on the way.
There’s only outdoor seating at DeeDee, though it looks like you can take your food into the indoor seating at Leona.

Absolutely love this place, came by tonight for the first time and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Not too crowded which was nice because we where able to find a good table. The food was amazing we got the Laab, the pad kaprow and the moo ping with a side of the pickled salad and everything blew us away! Food came out fast and hot and everything was packed full of flavor, we loved it all but the laab was definitely the star of the show! Counter service employee was friendly and helpful and the Chef who handed us our food was really friendly and helped describe some of the dishes to my parents who haven’t had Thai food before! We will 100% be regulars here, keep up the good work!

Tucked in the back of a beautiful little garden type area. The Pad KaPow and Papaya Salad were both great. I messed up my online order pickup time, and they were accommodating enough to make it for me on the spot. As someone whos had traditional Thai and loves spicy food, I actually anticipated the KaPow to be spicier, but to the average person it probably is pretty spicy.

The food is great, a little bit on the higher price range, but the service was friendly and welcoming. However, we ordered this rice dish had barely rice in it, so we had to pay $5 for a side rice. Wish they could change the racial balance:) over all good experience and good food!

I’ve loved DEE DEE for years- red curry used to be one of my absolute favorites in Austin. I’d been looking forward to their reopening at Leona, so I stopped by today with high hopes.
They’ve changed up the menu, and the red curry has been replaced with green curry. I figured the change might’ve been because green curry is generally much quicker and easier to prep, but I was still excited to try it given how good their red curry used to be.
Unfortunately, the green curry was a huge disappointment. It was extremely watered down, lacked any depth or flavor, and honestly was the least impressive green curry I’ve had in Austin. The woman taking orders also seemed irritated and gave a bit of attitude, which made the experience even less pleasant (it was busy, so I’m sure she was exhausted but the attitude was unnecessary. If you’re gonna work in a role that requires you to face and interact customers, consider maintaining a basic level of courtesy.
The pork skewers were seasoned well, but the sauce that came with them tasted surprisingly bland.
I was genuinely excited about DeeDee’s expansion, but the quality has gone down significantly. I won’t be frequenting for their food as much as I thought I would.

Wow! I heard this place from YouTube and they are definitely worth the hype. Every dish looked so simple, yet so good. This is really some authentic Thai food you won’t be able to find elsewhere. You can taste the love and passion they put in everything!
The wait can get a little long, so I recommend to pre-order pick up online.
Super recommended!

Dee Dee has some unique Thai food. The style is definitely different than most Thai places as I thought the flavors were less on the sweet side. I got their red curry and the mango sticky rice which I definitely recommend. The only downside of Dee Dee is that their wait times can be long and their hours are kind of strange.

So glad to see Dee Dee go larger scale. Really great food and service. Miss the heat from the trailer. Thinking they might’ve folded to the “too spicy” comments from past reviews, but the food is fantastic and Morgan is a super chill server that takes the long lines in stride. Highly recommended
