My Dad and we’re heading out to Miller’s Ale House in Lady Lake on a Friday night and when we walked in it was going to be a 45 min wait! So I had a back up plan and wanted to check out the Anchor Inn. Best choice ever being out the Villages(bubble)!!!! We sat at the bar and Riley came right over and asked what we wanted. He was attentive, great personality. Overall Rock star. We then had Sugar take our food order and she was Fabulous too! Always checking up on us along with Riley! This team is cohesive, definitely team players, work hard, excel in customer service in every capacity! Give those 2 a raise!!!! They give the service staff a run for their money in some of the establishments we have patroned at within the Villages! A+ for service, food, and atmosphere!

Had heard their wings were good but that’s an understatement. Smoked them flash fried, we tried buffalo and sweet chili. Awesome ! Their burgers and hot ham and cheese were delicious, but BEST of all was the Awesome service. Sugar… yes that’s her name… had a busy place under control with a smile and time to chat! Check it out, you won’t regret it!

Went there tonight for the first time with family and I have to say it was amazing! The food was so good and they have great portions. The quality for the price is unbeatable. They have actual chicken tenders not nuggets pretending to be tenders, they are good size. All in all it will be a new favorite.

This is my local go to spot. The staff is amazing and very courteous. They seem to know everyone by name. If you don’t like flavored food then you need to go somewhere else. It’s very fortunate that they do not change their menu to flavorless food when the snowbirds show up like many other restaurants do.

The service here was exceptional – friendly and super fast. We tried the crab fries as an appetizer as it seemed such a unique item. It was very good but I might have preferred less seasoning to allow the crab flavour to come through. The philly beef was great – lots of flavour and tons of meat. The lobster sandwich was very good with abundant lobster meat. The meat was, however, more of the stringy variety rather than chunky. Overall the food was extremely good, but a bit short of outstanding. I would go back.

Dropped by for lunch while in town. We had our doubts about the food since it looked like mostly a bar. However, the food was excellent and the waitress was very thoughtful and helped us pick some good items. Husband is very picky about seafood and he was pleasantly surprised to find the crab on the fries was real blue crab (not “krab”). The captain burger was amazing and the kids loved their cheeseburgers too. Would return.

Great, local bar/restaurant with great burgers, wings and sandwiches. The food was way better than expected. Try the Chicago beef or Phili cheese sandwiches. The chef knows what he’s doing. Seriously. Recommended.
