It was my first time trying Tequileros, and I gotta say I was not disappointed! First off, the restaurant is small but very clean and modern. The floral decorations and neon lights give the place a chill but trendy vibe. I found out about this place thanks to an Instagram reel that was sent to me by my Bay Area friend. We had an appointment in Stockton today, so this seemed like the perfect time to give it a try. I ordered the birria fries, with mild and hot sauce, and asked for the onions and cilantro on the side. The waitress was very nice and was able to have it made the way I asked. My wife ordered two asada tacos with mild sauce. The fries came out in a to go container that was packed to the brim! There was so much cheese and sauce on top that you couldn’t even see the fries! The first bite was amazing, and I ate nearly half the container before we left. Meat was tender, and no fatty chunks, fries were perfectly crispy and reminded me of crispier Wienerschnitzel fries. The hot sauce wasn’t too spicy, and the two sauces together had a ton of flavor. There is plenty of parking in this area and a lot of other food options, but if you are looking for some good Mexican food, I would recommend stopping here!

I ordered nachos. You can imagine what 30 minutes does to nachos. They were a soggy mess. I think they would’ve been really good if they were hot and fresh. DoorDash sucks‼️‼️
I also ordered a jalapeño wrapped in cheese. That was a bit spicy for me but I think that would’ve been good too for people that like spice.
My suggestion… Go to the restaurant and eat instead of ordering DoorDash‼️‼️

I gave it three star because there’s no side bar for condiments or complementary chips with your order when dining. Is just ordinary taco truck dish. We tried queso birria taco most recommended. 4 asada street taco . If you only pay card, cashless here’s your place.

Itd be great if they’d actually listen when I order, 3 out of 3 times I’ll ask for something without onion and get onion, I’ll ask for sauce on the side and it’ll be so far on the side it’s not even in the bag. I’m over incompetence with places like this, it’s shouldn’t be that hard to just listen and follow simple direction.

If you want authentic…this isn’t it. This is not a place to sit in and eat as the chairs are hard and the bench is too thin to sit on. You order and go. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have actual hot sauce even though they say they do with their hot and mild. My husband ordered a burrito and it fell apart because it was so greasy. It’s a one time shop for me and my husband. I do want to say that the young lady at the counter was friendly.
