I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by my experience at Los Toritos of Crossville. This is far more than just your average Mexican restaurant—it’s a lively, delicious, and budget-friendly destination!
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is a lot of fun., they even had a DJ playing Christmas music, which added a great, festive energy to the evening.
The quality of the food was outstanding, starting right away with the complimentary chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were warm and tasted fresh right out of the fryer, which is always a good sign. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty, and the portions were huge for the very reasonable prices.
I was particularly impressed with the Chimichangas. They were fully stuffed with ingredients and, thankfully, they were not fried too long, avoiding that tough, over-fried texture you find at some other restaurants. They were light, crispy, and flavorful.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit, especially to take advantage of their excellent specials. As of now, they have burritos for just $1.50 each on Wednesdays! I will be back on a Wednesday and will report back!
the restaurant was very clean. It had a great look and a calming atmosphere after 700 miles
For dinner I had an dish called
Alambre
A combination, chorizo, ham, bacon, grilled veggies, jalapenos, choice of grilled chicken, steak or mixed, topped with
shredded melted cheese and served with rice, beans and salad.
It was great. A very well balanced blend of spices, textures, flavors and heat. I would say the best dish I have had at any Mexican restaurant I have dined at.
Marcos was my server for the evening. He did a great job, thank you for a relaxing enjoyable dinner.
The server was the worst I have had in a while the food took forever to come out and she complained she was the only one working as her and the hostess I take it were in the back arguing…when we ask a question about the food she didn’t know and said….I don’t eat here ! Oh please
We asked if they had any salsa that was hotter….well she never brought it we asked again and she snapped I’m all alone here….ok well there are three party’s in the whole place excuse us
Oh and the paper cup of salsa was 3 dollars haha…needles to say it was a disaster….I won’t continue
