The tables were unkept. Leftover stuff not cleared. Most of the spots were occupied by unknown people & it seemed very awkward. Needs better management & service oriented employees. The location is great amidst a plaza. Hope for a better experience next time.

I placed a mobile order and it was ready very quickly. The lady working there pushing the cart with a tote of dirty water was very nice. The customer walking in as I was leaving was such a gentleman to open the door for me when I was leaving with my food. I tried the turkey chili for the first time and it was delicious! I need to get it again. The smoked turkey bacon sandwich was huge! I added onion, cilantro and basil. Too much turkey meat for me! I’m waiting for my dog to help me eat it. Shes not interested right now. Maybe later?? I just noticed that the chips are missing. Oh well. The mango smoothie is very good as expected.

On our visit to the tailor in Herndon, we felt like some hot soup given the cold day so stopped by Panera which was hopping both inside as well as pick-up. Our special is always the chicken and rice which comes with bread. It was delicious and we picked up an oatmeal cookie for later. Packed but line moved fast and our food came quickly.

I ordered two whole sandwiches, but they gave me two halves instead. The sandwiches barely had any chicken, and there was no salad or vegetables inside at all. This is not what I paid for. Very disappointed with the portion size and the quality.

I ordered the “stacked” chicken green goddess caprese melt because I got it once before and it was incredible. Tell me why my sandwich not only had no chicken, but they skimped on every other possible topping. There was a solid 3 inches of sandwich that only had greens. Even worse, after my singular bite of sandwich, I started developing the mild allergic reaction that only occurs to me when I eat unwashed vegetables. Bruh. I understand when restaurants mess up, but someone actively looked at this “sandwich” (that I spent over $16 for) and decided “yes, that is acceptable.” I have surpassed disappointment; at this point I feel actively disrespected. Sent in a request for a refund and have received no follow-up or even a confirmation email that I sent it.

All day today, we been packing for our next move and decided to stop over Panera. It was a wonderful experience with the manager Brent that made time to talk with us and Gigi the cashier gave us outstanding customer service. We’re from California and it’s not everyday you see people enjoy where they are working at and helping others. Thank you Brent and Gigi, we will try to visit before we move and thank you for everything.

As far as the food goes this is a regular Panera but I have had issues with the service my last few carry-out visits. Can’t claim them to be curbside when they haven’t been brought to my car despite waiting for service. Did not receive a cup for a soda and later was given the wrong cookie. These are not big mistakes but continuing to not meet expectations means I will go out of my way to use the other Herndon Panera. Check your order before leaving!!
