What a gorgeous gem in the middle of the city. Little cozy stylish bar with Japanese touch, where every detail in decoration is coming with love and a story. Jazz music will be playing from vinila records and there will be a thought behind the music sequence brought up. Selection of drinks is highest end, including Japanese wine. And of course the welcoming owner, who is a wonderful interlocutor together with his fellow cat makes you feel at home. It was the best place I could think spending my evening.

Great hole in the wall bar with live music that reminds me of some of the best bars in Brooklyn. Had a great sesame Boulevard a cocktail while listening to a really good band. Very much enjoyed the cozy atmosphere here!

The selection of beer, wine, and sake is phenomenal, plus a nice little cafe/na selection for those craving a caffeine boost or a afternoon hangout. The music is always amazing with the owner/bartender being very attentive to the overall soundscape and feng shui.Leading to a wonderful atmosphere with lots of communal banter and appreciation for good spirits, conversation, and tunes. 10/10

Hepcat is exactly what we needed in Central Vermont! A chill place to get excellent beverages including incredibly well crafted locally roasted coffee, alcoholic beverages and (much to my delight) an excellent N/A beverage list. I’ve met so many rad local folks and made new friends at Hepcat. The space and vibe encourage community connection. The vinyl collection is next level (music nerd here!) and Monday night vinyl club nights have been a blast. Over joyed to have a chill, small, curated and lively place to hang nearby. The owner Chris is super friendly and welcoming. Go check this place out folks!

Wow…what a spot! It’s like chilling in your own living room in downtown Montpelier, with great tunes, drinks, company, and decor. Chris will keep the party going depending on the size of your crew, and we had an absolute blast here and will be back for sure. Jazz bar, but also 80s, you name it. It’s a reference level LP collection. Drink options are wind and beer, but it works in pinch. The cat is a nice touch.

Incredible music, a fun and classy atmosphere, and a delicious selection of beverages – this spot is a gem! Japanophiles in particular will enjoy the bartender and the ornamentation. A great addition to the downtown scene.
