Excellent food and a great dining experience!
We walked in without a reservation and waited about 15–20 minutes. Seeing so many local families dining with their kids really made this place feel like a neighborhood favorite and a true local gem.

Our kids shared enchiladas, and this was their first time trying them. I was a bit worried at first because they can be pretty picky eaters and don’t always like new or unfamiliar flavors. To my surprise, they really enjoyed the enchiladas and finished their plates happily.

My fish tacos were excellent – fresh, flavorful, and well balanced. The salad bowl with the crispy shell was also delicious and added a great crunch.

Overall, it was a great dining experience.

I went here for dinner with a party of eight and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience! It was enchilada night so I ordered three unique enchiladas and they were absolutely delicious. The bar had an excellent assortment of quality tequila in which our party had fun sampling. The staff was friendly and attentive never leaving us waiting very long for food or drinks. Overall our group had an excellent time and will back again in the future.

This place is a hometown gem! The food is always delicious and satisfying. We were there for taco Tuesday and everything was on point. My husband tried a bunch of their tacos and I tried their Chile en nogada (stuffed poblano peppers with creamy sauce), it was very flavorful and my husband couldn’t decide which taco tasted better. I highly recommend their Elote (corn on the cob). We absolutely love the service.

The food is poor at best. The meat was tender but lacked any flavor. Table salsa was decent. Price for portion size was not great. The drinks were either too sugary or just poor quality mixers. Please avoid and save your money. Oh and the server brought the wrong meat for the dish we ordered. Very poor representation of Mexican food (which I love).

I didn’t even realize my review didn’t completely save until I received the notification from the owner of this business that only having a one star rating without information was “lazy”. So I will make sure it posts this time.

This was the second time my husband and I have been here. The first time, terrible food and drinks. The margaritas were all mixer, and poor quality. However, for nostalgia we went back. It was worse than we remembered. We both have had authentic Mexican food, and this is nowhere close. The burro cali I had was bland, and the rice undercooked. The cheese sauce that came with it was runny with no flavor. No sides, and a small burrito, for $17! My husband got the torta, $19. The one star for food is for the fries. The fries were a good crisp. The sandwich meat did not have any seasoning, and the sandwich was not quality freshness. We were hungry, and yet chose not to finish our meals. For the amount of money spent on food, way under par and small portions.

The waitress was also the bartender, who seemed stretched thin, even though there appeared to be staffing. She did try to make some conversation with us, which I can appreciate.

Reviews, both positive and negative, are for criticism or giving other patrons generalized ideas, and how it is received by the owners should reflect professionalism.

We will stick to our regular spot and not be returning.

This restaurant doesn’t provide chips and salsa with takeout food, only dine in. My order was 16 minutes after the estimated pick up, so I waited inside for over 20 minutes, didn’t get chips, and had to request silverware (thankfully I checked or I wouldn’t have been able to eat on the go). It was not busy at all, so I am confused why? Highly recommend Cinco de Mayo over here for service.

Awesome little spot. Food has been consistently wonderful and the service has always been pleasant. We tend to visit during those off hours between lunch and dinner and it’s never been super busy, so I’ve never seen it full swing on a weekend.

The menu covers all the bases of the tried and trusted dishes as well as several more unique plates you don’t normally see elsewhere.

A true hidden gem, LunaZul is well worth the visit when the mood for good Mexican hits.
