Came for the corundas and uchepos. Both were delicious and brought me back to my grandmother’s kitchen where she would prepare them. We also ordered the enchiladas michoacanas, delicious! The cantarito was well prepared and very refreshing. Highly recommend this restaurant. Servers were attentive and friendly.

Food was super delicious! The tortillas had a nice crispy to each bite, shrimp was good including all salsas had such great flavor to each meal.. Me & my Tia pretty much shared everything which I enjoyed. Besides the corn Tamales it wasn’t to my taste buds I feel like 3 or 4 bites I’m done. But my Tia loved them she had to take some home to her family (which they have them frozen as an option to take). Coffee was like cafe de olla
The service was friendly and attentive! Can’t wait to try more on the menu, I would highly recommend to give this place a try!

Absolutely loved our experience here. The corundas, uchepos, and enchiladas michoacanas were delicious — the kind of flavors that instantly transport you back to Michoacán. It’s rare to find a place that captures true authenticity.
To finish the meal, the jello with rompope was the perfect touch.
Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.

False advertisement on instagram and facebook I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment.
We paid $33 for two plates, which is not cheap, especially for Mexican food. The food had no flavor at all. It was very bland and poorly prepared.
The menu said the plates come with beans, but there were no beans at all — only rice. Just rice, a few small pieces of meat, and that’s it. For the price, that’s unacceptable.
On top of that:
• No silverware was provided
• I had to ask for salsa
• When I asked for Mexican salsa, I was told “everything is inside”
• I checked the plate and again — only rice, no beans, no salsa
The food quality, portions, and service do not match the price. Paying $33 for flavorless food with missing items is frustrating.
Sadly, this was my first and last visit. I will not be coming back and I can’t recommend it.

I’m going to share with you another place to savor authentic Mexican food, and in this case, traditional cuisine from the state of Michoacán. For me, as for many of my fellow countrymen, it’s a special moment to experience flavors that bring back memories, whether from childhood or youth, when you taste food from certain restaurants or prepared by hands that know exactly the right seasoning, with those secret ingredients, like your grandmother’s cooking, with that unique aroma of wood smoke, in a humble kitchen but above all, full of love and blessings. This morning, my youngest son little Karcher and I visited Asadero Mexican Grill in Anaheim; I saw their ad on TikTok. What I was really interested in trying were the corundas, the enchiladas with cecina (dried beef), the morisqueta (rice dish), and the uchepos (sweet corn tamales). It had actually been many years since I’d last had corundas. When my plate of corundas arrived, the aroma moved me so much that I started to cry with emotion. I shared with my son how much I loved eating them when I was a university student in Morelia, Michoacán. There was a woman who sold these delicious, fresh treats every day outside the Law School. So I recommended ♡

My family is from Michoacán Mexico and I was dying to try this place. It did not disappoint! The food is beyond amazing! It felt like I was waking into my mother’s kitchen! The service was great too! It is a family owned restaurant and it has a home like vibe. The staff is friendly and welcoming! The owner was super sweet!! After I was finished eating the owner came by with a yummy dessert on the house. If you are craving authentic food you should definitely stop by Asadero Mexican grill, I highly recommend it!!!

This was a random Mexican restaurant I decided to try based on ratings. It’s in a large strip mall, easy to find parking. I wanted to try the enchiladas on the menu, which is enchilada Michoacanas, but it was difficult to understand the person at the counter and I ended up with the usual enchiladas. I did not know they had that available as it was not on the menu. Also a fixed service charge for using non-cash payment.
The food I felt was average. The sides were really small, as you can see in the photo. The chicken was dry, and there was not much else inside the tortilla. It was $18 for this meal.
I wouldn’t come back for enchiladas, but maybe to try the enchilada Michoacanas.
