This location is just a short detour off the highway, and we highly recommend it! There was no line when we arrived on Sunday around 9:30am. The pumpkin spice latte with coconut milk was heavenly. Made with pumpkin puree it tasted like liquid pumpkin pie. YUM! Breakfast sandwiches are cooked to order with many toppings and bread (including gluten free) options. We had an English muffin with Eddie and Swiss and a GF egg BLT. Lots of seating indoors and great atmosphere.

Very good breakfast burger and iced latte. OK hash bowl. Awful coffee. I think I might have had the end of a batch and should have complained, but I didn’t. Service was helpful and friendly and the space is pretty unique for what we expected driving through the neighborhood to get there.

Ordered door dash a couple of times. They forgpot ingredients on my sandwich twice. They sold me EXPIRED ORANGE JUICE. Door dash thought appropriate compensation was $1.86. The orange juice alone costs more than that. What restaurant doesn’t keep up on expirations?! Disgusting.

I stumbled upon Rebel Dog Coffee completely by accident while I was in East Hartford, and WOW, am I glad I did! This was easily one of the best “wrong turns” I’ve ever taken.
The moment I walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the place is. It has a fantastic, buzzing atmosphere. It’s clearly a popular spot, as there were many people studying and working on laptops. It must be near the local college because it has this perfect, energetic, yet focused vibe. Despite being busy, the ambiance was just great.
Now, let’s talk about the most important part: the coffee. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I’m not exaggerating. This was easily one of the best, most delicious, and smoothest cups of coffee I have had in recent memory. You can tell they are passionate about quality.
I was just looking for a quick caffeine fix and instead found my new favorite coffee shop. I will absolutely be making a special trip to come back. 10/10, 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend!

Cute shop to just sit and read, work, or meet up with friends. I enjoyed sitting by myself on a rainy day while enjoying a salted toffee mocha latte. Rebel Dog has an amazing food menu but I was pressed for time so didn’t actually get to grab food but I will next time because it all looked soooo good! I enjoyed the background music and overall vibe of this shop. My latte was delicious, there was plenty of seating, and the staff member who took care of me was friendly. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Super cute & trendy! And I love the $1 stickers!! Most customers were regulars. Breakfast very tasty, well-prepared & presented. Had to try the Nova Scotia eggs Benedict- perfectly poached eggs! Also a traditional bacon, egg, cheese bagel. regular house coffee was good flavor & body. Prices typical. Extras: They also had plenty of free coffee grounds for garden. Bagged coffee beans about $25 (seemed a little pricey to me.)

Ok I want to start by saying this was one of my favorite places to go. There was a time that I’d go there three or more times a week for a coffee or lunch. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks were good.

Over time the staff turned over and it’s never been the same. For a while now, the coffees have tasted like the coffee machine hasn’t been cleaned and descaled in years. The time before last I went in and ordered, the drink and the sandwich came out fine. I waited for the fries for a while… until I looked up and saw a staff member eating them while they sat in the window. I was pretty uhh surprised? confused? I assumed there had to be a misunderstanding and I didn’t want to embarrass anyone so I didn’t say anything.

Today I received a BLT with no bacon. Not few. Not lite. Not placed poorly. Literally none. I don’t even know how it’s possible to be so incompetent. I’d be shocked if I hadnt already watch these guys eat my fries a few months ago.

Also, one must clean their own tables which, fair enough I guess, but where they previously had two dish disposal areas (one on each end of the place) they’ve decided they only want to maintain one so if you’re at the back end you have to walk all your dishes up to the front.

I don’t know if it’s more laziness or incompetence but it used to be a cute place.

Been on the big red truck for my home espressos for a while now, absolutely love the consistency of the roast and the freshness. Stopped in for brunch and was pleasantly surprised at all the options for food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be trying more on the menu each time I come pick up more beans.

If you’re searching for a cozy spot with great vibes and even better coffee, Rebel Dog Coffee is the place to be. This café nails the balance between an inviting atmosphere and high-quality offerings. Their menu is diverse, catering to everyone from black coffee purists to those who enjoy more creative drinks.

I tried their Maple Coffee, and it was absolutely fantastic. The maple flavor was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, but just enough to add a subtle, rich sweetness to the smooth coffee. It’s a comforting, warm drink that’s perfect for chilly mornings or anytime you’re craving something a little special.

The staff here are always friendly and knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations or customize your drink just how you like it. The seating options are great, whether you’re there for a quick grab-and-go or planning to stay for a while with your laptop or book.

Rebel Dog Coffee is definitely a gem for coffee lovers. If you’re in the area, give th Maple Coffee a try—it’s worth the visit!

Rebel Dog Coffee has a nice atmosphere that’s very clean spacious, and bright, which is a much needed change from any of the dark dingy Boutique coffee houses. The food is very good, but is important to know that they operate on a “small plate style”, you’re not going to have sides included and you’re not going to have massive portions, be prepared for the “ala carte” experience. If you’re showing up looking for a coffee and maybe a light eat this is a good place, if you want a full breakfast I might go elsewhere because while you can order it, you’ll pay for it.
