This is not a fancy place but they offer a large selection of traditional czech and German pastries, sausage and ham rolls (klobasnek), homemade breads, donuts, and cookies and pies. They also have good breakfast tacos and a breakfast menu. They have great lunch and dinner specials as well. This place is set up for morning coffee groups and locals and a must for area deer hunters. The dining area is crowded at peak times, but it’s a local favorite.
They will make cakes if you special order them. My daughter loves their cinnamon rolls so much, we had them create them as a wedding cake. It was perfect!

A very quaint experience. Has a mom and pop feel. Food was excellent they have burgers and sandwiches and specials of the day which are a little bit more like a hot plate. You can get all sorts of desserts donuts and pies and kolaches you name it you can probably find it.

Quaint little small town bakery with exceptional food! Found this place about 15 years ago and make a special trip there at least twice a year for the kolache and pigs! I usually call ahead for a big order and pick up a few extra sweets when I get there! Service is friendly and polite, always helpful. Good coffee and we have enjoyed everything we’ve tried. Parking at the door, small lot so might have to wait a minute at peak times. Bring an appetite because these are big portions!

I stopped here for lunch on a job in this small town. The burger here is absolutely phenomenal. Packed with so many flavors. What made this place so amazing was the service. They treated everyone the same with amazing customer service. Please stop by and try the cheeseburger

The 3 stars is for the flies and also a bit dirty atmosphere. Also the staff was younger and disorganized. Not very inviting or helpful for questions. The food is amazing. You want crunch with fried food? Check! Coleslaw a bit sweet (yummy), fresh slaw and a bite of pepper. Fish was crispy outside and flaky inside. Mac and cheese is creamy cheese sauce. Perfect! Cheese steak sandwich; great bun choice, the meat was tasty and savory it had onions with mushrooms mixed and cheese. Crispy curly fries. Cheese kolache is just yummy! It was a great find and marking this a visit again.

You have to stand in line and order at the counter. I tried a variety of stuff. Barbacoa tacos, kolaches, and pastry. It was all terrible. The kolaches were dry and thin, pastry was mushy, and the barbacoa (I really knew better) was the worst I’ve ever had. It was lazily just diced up with every bit of meat, gristle, and chunks of that rubbery fat stuff. There was no condiments for them either. I was given salsa, but there was no lime, cilantro, onion, etc. I will never return to this place.

Drove from Sheridan to grab some dinner as it appeared good from other posts. We showed up roughly an hour before closing and we’re only customers in restaurant. Customer service is very important in the restraunt business and it was lacking that day. Tea was picked up, register was closed before restaurant closed. I wanted to buy four pieces of pies and a loaf of their baked bread. Was told sorry there was nothing they could do as they closed the register. They knew we were not finished and noticed I kept looking at pies, they could have asked if there was anything else before they closed register. Hopefully this was just an off day because there losing sales which is money.
