After a long drive from Syracuse, I was famished. Not really feeling any other other local eateries I frequent, I did a basic Google search for ‘restaurants’ and saw ‘Zereschk’ high on the list, so I assumed it was close and took a look. Lo and behold it was just around the corner. I don’t know how I missed it. Then I saw it was Persian food, which I have never had, and I was in.
After perusing the menu, I gave them a call, asked forgiveness for not knowing pronunciations, and talked with the owner, who assured me it was no problem and made my order. He could not have been nicer.
I ordered the Joojeh and Kashk Bademjan with Pita.
The portion was huge, the chicken very tender and succulent and the tzaziki sauce (not sure if it was, but very similar) was very good. The barberries in the rice were a nice surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The owner was very nice, friendly and answered all my questions, as was his assistant.
I will definitely come back, I want to try the stews, and was told the menu was expanding.
Next time will dine in. You should definitely give this place a try.

What an excellent addition to Buffalo eatery scene. I came here for a quick dinner with wifey because we missed Persian food in Boston. The food was tasty and very friendly service. We will surely return in the future

This is officially my favorite restaurant from now on! I truly enjoyed everything. The food was absolutely delicious , some of the best Persian food I’ve ever had.
The staff were so friendly, and the service was amazing from start to finish. We ordered the ghormeh sabzi, kabab, zereshk polo, and desserts — everything was 10/10!

Tried the lamb stew to-go and it was packaged so perfectly with the stew in a separate container inside a larger container. It is so filling and flavorful. The rice tastes buttery and sooo good too. Can’t wait to try other meals

We got a smattering of things including the fesenjoon, the gormeh sabzi, the kashk, and a koobideh. Everything was delicious. Persian stews are always a favorite and they’re done perfectly here. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The koobideh was cooked to perfection and had such a wonderful herby flavor. And the kashk has an absolutely fantastic layered flavor profile that I couldn’t get enough of.
We also ended with the saffron pistachio ice cream, and I will be dreaming of it for the near future. A perfect conclusion to a delightful meal.

I have been waiting for a Persian restaurant like this to open since Pomegranate closed years ago. It was always my go-to food when I needed something healthy, delicious and easy on my stomach and this new place made my favorite entrees just as I remembered, no disappointment whatsoever! We were thrilled with the food flavor and rice portions were more than generous. My kids’ favorite was the fesenjoon and the shirazi salad was another refreshing hit. The chicken I ordered was perfectly flavored and moist and even the roasted tomato was nostalgically good as well. I have not enjoyed ground beef kabobs in the past, but I tried my husband’s and would order that and the chicken combo in the future. Everything was absolutely perfect and the owner was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back!

WNY needs this…delicious Persian food! Nice little casual place with great tasting, well seasoned ghormeh sabzi, koobideh(kabob), and more. Take out or eat in. Highly recommend you give this place a try and treat your taste buds to something a little different.

Very delicious. We got the koobideh and Zereshk polo- pick up order for the first time. The rice is perfect, not mushy and not too buttery. The zereshk polo tomato sauce tastes like mom’s cooking. We will be regulars!
