To make matters worse, the dish was missing bacon so I went back to ask about it. The worker reached into my food and dug his finger around to look for it. When he didn’t find any, he grabbed a handful of cold bacon and dropped it on top. I was shocked, it was unhygienic, and completely ruined my appetite.
Oh and there’s more….. the tray was half sweet potato fries (hidden under the fries), which I did not order and it was not part of the description. When I asked about this, I was told the kitchen was running low on regular fries and substituted sweet potatoes WITHOUT notifying me. I would have appreciated being told beforehand so I could make a different choice especially since not everyone can or likes to eat sweet potatoe fries. The worker shrugged it off, which felt dismissive of what I ordered and paid for.
They need training on basic communication and proper food handling standards. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.
The food here was so amazing! The price for the portions were very reasonable in my opinion. We got the honey butter with tater tots; and the Nashville with sweet potato fries!! And 3 lemon pepper tenders. Everything was amazing. The honey mustard sauce was delicious.
We decided to order a few things to mix and match and share. We ordered 2 sliders with a side. Wow! Those are regular size sandwiches so I’m glad we shared. We got the normal heat and it was perfect. Nice juicy chicken with the perfect amount of heat.
Our side was fried pickles with ranch dressing. Yummy ranch! Homemade and different from the normal.
This was a great choice of food!
That’s what happen to this stall. I remember ordering Hainan Chicken dish but now it’s a new vender. Bird Talk opened this past March. It’s their second location with their first in Palos Verdes.
They take their time to making everything fresh so expect a good 15-30 mins. You get a buzzer.
We got the 10 piece chicken nugget combo ($9.95). Comes with a side and sauce. Unfortunately it only comes with original flavor and can’t be changed. I was picturing McNugget but it was more like large chicken popcorn. Very filling for 10 piece.
We got Nashville Sliders ($14), comes with 2 sliders, side, and sauce. I was imagining Hawaiian bread size for the sliders. Nope, it’s slightly smaller than a full size. Like a junior whooper size! Huge! You’re able to pick spice level: mild, spicy or super spicy. I got spicy. It wasn’t spicy.
We also got 3 tenders combo ($12), comes with side and sauce. You can pick the flavors, we got 2 Nashville and 1 plain.
Each of our combo came with a side. There are 8 sides to choose from. We got loaded tots (topped with cheese, bacon, green onions), loaded crinkle cut fries (sprinkled Cajun spice), and Mac and cheese. I’m not a Mac and cheese person but this was not bad because it wasn’t so cheesy. The tots were crispy. Everything taste delicious.
There’s 6 sauces and you get to pick one for each combo. We went with 2 Come back (creamy Buffalo) and 1 Bird dip( Cajun thousand island.
Overall, the chicken was fresh, extra crunchy, moist, and flavorful. It was worth the wait.
The space is a shared plaza so plenty of seating.
