Visited for the first time and was warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. Everything is made fresh and prepared perfectly before you leave! The love and dedication to their baking is artwork. Every piece in the display case was beautiful and left looking the same. We ordered a good many to sample and each one was fabulous! We can’t wait to stop by again and try what’s new! The chocolate creme brulee was absolutely amazing . Thank you for being so kind, patient and amazing at what you all do!

Tucked away in Brunswick, MD this cozy bakery is worth the drive for the delicious pastries and bread. I had stopped by a couple of times and immediately knew I had to come back. Both the sweet and savory pastries are delicious, but I recently bought a mini baguette and it was perfect – crusty on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The jewel in the crown of my most recent order was a custom cake for a party. It was stunningly beautiful and a work of art in itself. Equally important it tasted delicious and was the hit of the party!

An excellent spot for an elevated bakery experience. Everything we have had from Maison has been delightful. The staff is so friendly and they seem like they really want to get to know you, not just make a sale. Most of our pastries are finished on the spot with decoration, topping, etc. You can feel the love when you walk in. Thank you for being a gem in our small town!!

Where do I start. Emma is an amazing baker and her baked goods have not only such great beauty and presentation but the flavor profiles of the different sweet and savory goods she makes are memorable and keep you coming back. On top of that the breads, cookies, croissants, cheesecakes and cookies are so yummy that you find yourself making her bakery a weekly stop on your to do list! Also she has dog treats and my dogs will dance for them.

My students once earned the treat of her cookies for their star jar and kept begging me to get them more. Her bread makes the best sandwiches and avocado toast. Lastly my husband asks every week to pick up her weekly cheesecake special (yes it rotates and as a NY’er for most of my life who has high standards it exceeds them, it is always so good!!!)

Go visit Emma and her team and get some treats for yourself! Even if your not a big baked goods person this spot is worth the visit and will not disappoint!

This is a general review but I’ll comment on something specific, as well.

Maison is an absolute gem run by a fantastic and hard-working woman with a warm and friendly staff. That combination is worth supporting all day long. As a resident of the area for a while, I was anxious to see who would succeed Hive. I couldn’t be happier that Maison showed up.

The food is exquisite – care, attention, and time gets poured into everything on the menu. You can tell there’s a passion and a craft that goes into anything you buy. Whether it be long fermenting dough to create some of the best croissants you’ve ever touched or a rotating menu of special flavors and combinations of cheesecakes, buns, and hand pies, there’s absolutely nothing you won’t love from here.

The service is always cheerful, informative, and welcoming. From the strength-contest door prompting a conversation to the smiles and cheerful banter as you work through the counter.

Even custom orders are incredible. The photos attached were for a birthday cake for my wife. The process of finding out a design, working flavor combinations, and getting payment squared was effortless. The cake turned out to be stunning. My only regret is that I didn’t go larger so that I could still be eating it.

We’re fortunate to have Maison here and the crew that runs it are people that we’re blessed to have locally.

Get out and support Maison, regret isn’t a word that will come up.

This place was awesome!!! We got the chocolate croissant and the French toast sourdough which should be illegal it’s so good. All of it was banging delicious. This is my new bakery. The bakery is very small and cozy but there aren’t any tables to eat in.

We have mostly gotten weekend bakery treats which are incredible but my husband ordered my birthday cake this year from Maison and when I tell you that this was the best cake I’ve ever eaten, I mean it! Not only was the cake beautifully decorated to perfection, the taste was so nostalgic but unique and absolutely delicious!! Was a great way to celebrate my day, will be ordering in the future for sure!!

If you haven’t visited this local pastry shop yet, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best breakfast and brunch spots around. Their hand pies are next-level — flaky, salty and sweet, buttery, and packed with unique, mouthwatering fillings.

The original brisket hand pie: it’s hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The brisket is tender and flavorful, melting in your mouth with that perfect balance of sweet and savory BBQ. It’s the kind of thing you think about days later.

The baker and owner is a creative genius behind the counter. New seasonal recipes that somehow get better each time. Her goat cheese and fig hand pie is a work of art — tangy, rich, subtly sweet — and the limited mango cruffin as well as the apple and cheddar hand pie is just as divine.

Every hand pie is bursting with flavor, whether you’re craving something sweet or salty. And the kids love it too! It’s one of the few places that keeps both grown-ups and little ones equally happy (and full). This place is pure brunch magic.

I stopped in here to get breakfast with my daughter. We enjoyed a delicious egg sandwich and chocolate croissant. I also had an iced coffee that was very good.
