In love with this new place in town. The way they have decorated their interiror and the variety of menu that you dont get in the Bay Area.
We orderd the Papri chaat, Aalo Puff Pastry, Paneer Tikka Rolls, Zing Roll, Gol Gappay Shots with the Karak Chai and Peach Perfect followed by their yummy Mango Falooda amd we we extremely satisfied with the quality and taste of food – everything was fresh. To top it all, I must mention about the customer service which was exceptional.
I dont usually wrote reviews but here I am doing so – highly recommended.
So happy this kind of beautiful looking and equally tasty place opened here.
Please go visit if you haven’t yet.
Tea was a bit sweeter for our taste but otherwise great.
Will come back again for sure.
The shop was decorated with great taste bringing out the vibrancy of our culture and the importance of tea and food for us.
On the sweeter side, the Shahi Falooda is rich, chilled, and beautifully layered, making it a perfect dessert after a savory meal. Their chai selection is huge but my mom and I only tried the Karak and the Kashmiri Chai (that comes with nuts)
I was blown by their Naan Khatai (so fresh) and the Aalo Puff Pastry was just ideal to pair with Chai. To cool things down, the Berry Berrilicious drink was so refreshing while the Mango Lassi is thick, creamy, and bursting with original mango flavor.
Overall, I’d recommend Chai & Co. as it is a great spot for anyone craving comforting bites, quality chai, and a mix of sweet and savory treats, all served with a homely, desi touch and feels with a lively ambiance.
I ordered Beef boti roll. It did not taste that good. The meat was old and really dark like black. Paratha was not cooked evenly. The Karak matka tea was not strong at all, it taste more watery. I make better tea at home. The bun kebob was better but not great. These cheapskate put a very thin slice of scrambled egg. For better Pakistani snacks go to Mirchi Cafe in Dublin (try Shezan club Sandwich) and Bundu Khan in Fremont (try their awesome beef bottle roll)
Not coming here again. Next time, I will NEVer go to a random place like this where I spent $35 and still not get the best bang for my buck
Had the Kashmiri Chai, Strawberry Lassi, Lacha Paratha and a wrap. All tasted great!
