I will recommended this restaurant to my friends.
But was able to get seated in 15mins and food was served quickly too.
Server Thomas was really nice and friendly.
Loved the sushi
And they recently started the all you can eat too.
Crunchy rolls were my favourite and also loved the Gyoza.
I think its one of the best place to have sushi in thunderbay.
I also ordered the Papa Ken Roll ($15.95), and once again, the portion was shockingly small. I usually don’t complain about food, but this honestly feels like getting robbed.
I was so frustrated—I had a long day and just wanted a good meal. I ended up going to Osaka Sushi again for their scallop nigiri. You can see the comparison in the blue box—the difference speaks for itself!
I’m not unreasonable, and if this was a mistake by Wasabi’s staff, the owner is welcome to contact me. I’m open for discussion.
$45+tax all you can eat however you can only ordered 10 pieces sashimi, in total, of any kind and the final product is shown on the picture, horrible.
Rice was very dry and lack of rice vinegar with it, the rice portion was very generous though.
Ice cream was served on a warm plate, almost hot actually and the waitress replied all the plates all freshly out of dish washing machine, so we have to suck it up at a $45 dinner I guess?
Thunder bay people deserves better restaurant.
I normally don’t give negative feedback to restaurant. But they are the worst japanese restaurant I have ever been to.
They limited 10 pcs of AYCE sashimi for each person. But the size of the salmon is just 1/4 of a shrimp nigiri. That’s is not acceptable.
And the serving plate is a pizza pan. So weird.
I will never go back.
Not worth $43 per person.
I also ordered the deep fried soft shelled crab because I’ve never seen that on a menu before. Unfortunately, it also didn’t have much flavour.
Not my favorite sushi place but it wasn’t unsatisfying enough to stop me from finishing it. Staff was friendly.
Will go there again the next time I’m in the area.
