We recently visited Butter Cup Bakery Cafe on 21st Street in Vero Beach, and it was a delightful experience! The cafe is conveniently located on Vero’s Miracle Mile, making it easy to find and access. There’s ample parking right next to the building, so no stress at all. It’s in a great spot with a few shops and restaurants nearby, perfect if you’re making a little outing out of it.
Our daughter has a gluten allergy and can’t have dairy, so we were thrilled they had vegan ice cream options. Not only was it safe for her, but it was also amazing — creamy, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was super nice and made sure everything was handled carefully.
If you’re in the area looking for a fun spot for treats that everyone can enjoy, this is definitely it. Easy to get to, convenient parking, allergy-friendly, and just a great vibe. We’ll be coming back for sure!

We love discovering new spots in Vero Beach and Buttercup Bakery Café is a gem. Stopped in for their 1-year anniversary and left seriously impressed.
The banana pudding was rich and dreamy, the cannoli gelato was a perfect treat, and the iced coffee kept us going. They even have a gluten-free flourless cake we were so tempted to try but were too full. We’ll definitely be back. Happy one year, Butter Cup Bakery Cafe!

Every baked good I’ve tried has been out-of-this-world delicious—especially their cakes. And don’t even get me started on the gelato—it’s creamy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had!

It took about 2 seconds to decide this was clearly the best, creamiest Gelato I’ve ever had. You can try up to 4 flavors but it only took me 3 to decide. I got a small cup of half pistachio and half zabaione. The second has a custard base with swirls of fudge and a hint of red wine. Their flavors change frequently so you can always have a new experience. I’m excited to try some of their bakery items as they look insanely delicious.
I feel the price is fair and they even offer a cash discount.

We were there about 2 months ago. It’s a clean and cute store, but it’d look better with colorful big pics of desserts hanging on the walls.
I gave it 4 stars because some treats didn’t taste fresh and practically no customer service by the Black girl. No hello, welcome, this is what we have, have a good day, etc.

Loved this place! Went with friends and kids and we liked that the ice cream was not overly sweet like most places! And the whipped consistency was delectable! This will be our only ice cream shop going forward, as we don’t like super sweet desserts. Thank you!
Update: my husband had my favorite Black Forest cake made for my birthday (a German Canadian tradition cake), and it was amazing!!!! Thank you!!!

It was good. The owner seemed very sweet. I wish some of the ice creams had chunks of brownies, peanut butter, or cheesecake bites. But the ice cream was still decent overall.

My wife and I visited this place for the first time while visiting family in Vero Beach, Florida. It’s a cute little spot with several great options. They give free samples and said everything is made in house-the gelato and cakes/cupcakes. The staff member, Ash, behind the counter, greeted us and was very polite and friendly. She let us all try different flavors and recommended some good options as well. My aunt and uncle got the peach gelato and was very pleased. My wife got chocolate ganash cake and really enjoyed it. I got the white chocolate and pistachio cookie and the salted caramel gelato. They were both good separately and even better when I put the gelato on the cookie. This was by far the best gelato place I’ve visited. I’m surprised they were not more busy. They have three sizes small, medium and large. I highly recommend this place! If you’re in the area, definitely check it out. I’d say it’s even worth it to travel a bit to try it!
