I ordered a family 10 peice and the chicken was cold and old and burnt. I as well as my wife tried several times to call the store to speak with a manager and no-one answered. Food costs too much for food like this. Also they didn’t have any hot sauce or honey. Whats really going on Popeyes in Bucksville AL?

Dirty soda machine and wasn’t working well either. Fries were cold and tasted like old oil and had been sitting out for a while. Other food wasn’t terrible. Decided to give this place one last shot after I got sick from spoilers ranch sauce. I won’t be going back and would advise others to go somewhere else. The overall restaurant is dirty and not cleaned frequently.

Get some people at this location that wants to be their. Take out time close the location and focus on customer service, service recovery and forecasting. They do a poor job. They don’t ever have chicken and very rude about you making a choice. Managers and supervisors should lead and set the tone.
This must be a franchise location because this is not the way a Popeyes should be ran. It’s bad here. The sad part is their is no other places to go so you have to except The mediocre service with high prices.

Well, another store they did have chicken wings, but they did not have the Cajun rice so and also their price was like three or four dollars higher on a side item than any other store. I think I’m just gonna keep on going and see if I can find one with some Cajun rice, the staff was excellent. They were very helpful And just don’t have any Cajun rice.

I visited the Popeyes in McCalla, AL, and while the lady at the counter, Gloria, was incredibly kind and patient, the overall experience was extremely negative. The store REQUIRES customers to use the self-service kiosks, and the kiosks are not user-friendly at all. If your order deviates even slightly from the standard combos—like wanting a spicy thigh with a regular wing—the kiosk simply can’t handle it. It’s not intuitive, and it takes far too long to place a simple order.
When I was there, the line was backed up to the front door because so many customers were struggling with the system. Multiple people asked for Gloria to take our orders, but the manager refused to allow her to help anyone, even though she was right there and willing. It was frustrating to watch both customers and staff be put in such an avoidable situation.
This whole setup is sad and disappointing, and because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

I saw this Popeye sign on the highway and I decided to come in and get some chicken. I didn’t really know what I wanted to eat and I know I didn’t want a hamburger. This area had a lot parking lot and plenty of handicapped parking. I entered through one of the double doors on the front and I was greeted by one of the ladies behind the counter. It is always nice to see a friendly face and be greeted like your returning friend when you go to some of these roadside places after traveling all day. I felt like she knew me and I felt more comfortable ordering my food. The lady brightened up my day just by being friendly and the only person I had talked to for over 4 hours. My food took a while to get it finished but she delivered the box with a smile and apologized for taking the extra time to get it prepared. I think workers forget that they are first contact for their business and their business thrives when the workers are happy and friendly and greet travelers like me with a smile. I made a permanent bookmark to stop here at this location on my next trip through the area.

I cant lie. This Popeye’s had that work. It had way more love in it then any other Popeye’s i been to in the South. I thought i was in New Orleans for a sec. I had the 12 piece wings. They are expensive tho for a Popeye’s with other menu items but they are Good

Trash!!! Drink cup had what appeared to be a sludge from the machine at the bottom. Total disregard while fixing drinks. The reviews about this place being filthy are indeed true because there was absolutely no reason for that filth to be at the bottom of my cup. I literally threw up after seeing it!! Will never eat at this trashy restaurant ever again in life!! Someone needs to call the inspector!
