This is the absolute worst managed store in Brookhaven. On a Saturday night it takes 30 mins to get an order. The staff is slow and unconcerned, they play a lot, and have no regards for customers time. The drive thru stays wrapped around the building and they act like they are scared to fry the chicken. It’s always a long wait, and it’s very inconvenient.

Day shift today was amazing. Service was quick… had higher ups in today and was a very welcoming environment. Night shift is a disaster… long waits with 3 people working and lobby closed and empty… too slow. Lack of guidance and discipline… makes job as a door dasher extremely difficult.

Chaos … staff way way over worked … lots of orders were wrong as people kept returning for fixes … mine had unwanted extras and omissions. Hard to order as there is no complete menu, causing delays to entering selection. I liked the shrimp, but chicken a bit greasy.

Every time I went through the drive thru and asked for mac and cheese, they were always out. 10 minutes after leaving the drive thru, I ordered a large through door dash and it was delivered less than 30 mins afterwards. Somebody in there is lying and it’s already annoying since you have to wait a longer amount of time in the drive thru than any other restaurant to get your food.

We stopped to try their famous chicken sandwich. However, after first visiting their restrooms we decided to leave. They were nasty. I’ve seen rundown gas stations with cleaner bathrooms and this is a restaurant. All I could think of was that “employees must wash their hands” before returning to work. I guess if you stick to the drive thru you wouldn’t have to think/worry about the restaurant’s cleanliness.

I discovered a grain beetle in my biscuit 1/12/25. I filed a complaint with the health department and I also reached out to Popeyes support who said they’d elevate the issue to management. I was advised I’d be contacted with a resolution and I have not, so I’m coming here to make others aware. Please double check your food and perhaps choose somewhere else to dine.

When I first walked in with my girlfriend (she said she wanted some Popeyes so I obliged), the smell alone was enough to make me leave, but I decided to suck it up to make her happy. Walked in and the garbage was overflowing out the top and spilling out the bottom, no tables were clean and half eaten meals laying around, bathroom was disgusting, and food was horrible. Would not recommend. Place should shut down.
