After a long day and having to go home and feed 5 growing boys, Grab & Go was our savior! Their lasagna was amazing and did the trick with one big pan. We can’t wait to try the Au Gratin ham and potatoes. Between the amazing service and delicious food, I give Grab & Go and solid 5 star. You can taste their passion in their food. Thanks Grab & Go for being there when we need a home cooked meal on the fly!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Small. Thoughtful. Home cooking feel. Great prices. A good meal for me for $10. My wife loved her lasagna ($7) and said it was the closest one to her mother’s that she hasn’t had in nearly 20 years. i enjoyed my 2 tacos, sides and drink. One side being their famous white chili was great. The slice of cake that her and I shared ( banana bread with a perfect light frosting) it was moist and delicious (and i dont like banana bread). . Will be back when we pass though. The girl working with the baby was very helpful and patient. Even let our small dog sit in our lap as we ate, so he didn’t have to wait in the car. 5 stars ⭐️

Had a chance to visit with Phyllis, who still works a few days a week but has passed this wonderful restaurant, which has been in business for 50 years, on to her grandson. From what we witnessed he too is passionate about providing outstanding service & food. I’d guess you can’t go wrong with any of the 6 homemade soups, breads or desserts, made daily for their loyal customers and those passing through Escanaba. We ate here Monday on the way to Mackinaw Island, and because it was so good, we decided to spend last night here, go to their wonderful Military museum this morning, then enjoy homemade soup and dessert again today on our way to Two Rivers, WI. Thank you again for the delicious split pea soup and cherry crisp with homemade whipped cream. If I lived nearby I too would be a loyal repeat customer!

Had a fantastic tuna sandwich on gluten free bread, and my partner had a ham and cheese plus a giant chocolate chip cookie! We enjoyed it very much.

Stopped in today for my first time. The owner is an amazing person. Was great to talk to him. The atmosphere is great and the food is just as amazing.

Very nice locally owned business. I had bacon, egg, cheese and tomato sandwich on rye for breakfast. It exceeded all of my expectations of a great sandwich for breakfast. Wish I lived closer so I could go often.

Ordered Christmas cookies for our business from Grab & Go this year. We bought several dozen cookies and several dozen candies from them. All the different varieties tasted very good, were packaged well, and looked just beautiful! Stand out favorites were the Turtle candies and the White Chocolate Haystacks. Excellent!!

Such a great find!! Delicious food items at very reasonable prices!! Had the white chicken chili — large portion for $5 and was creamy and perfect! Friends had a chickpea salad sandwich on rye and loved the unique flavor! Lots of keto friendly and gluten free options. This gem only has a small area to sit in– so probably better to plan to leave with your items. The two gentlemen were friendly and helpful!!

My wife was into trying as many restaurants as possible. Grab and Go had some good reviews. A few sad pasta salads, dips and parfaits in a cooler with no prepared by dates. We bought a couple and ordered some soup. Took a long time to get the soup and the guy never stopped coughing. Took our food back to our room and found nothing edible. Disappointed in the quality and taste. Ended up pitching it all. Not the best stop in Escanaba, probably won’t go back. There are far better places to eat on Ludington Street.
