The staff was nice and friendly whom I came across through the drive thru window. However I got to my destination and my fries were not all the way cooked some were still very cold. My rate for the store was due to the fact I called the store and informed them I’m about a 30min drive away from their area and she stated that I have to bring the fries back for them to replace them before closing. There is no way that is possible. Didn’t offer to take my name or anything I could have got them another time I was out that way or something. I didn’t even finish the meal because I was disgusted that it all might have not been cooked through because I ordered chicken strips and fries.

Ordered 8 ice cream cupcakes and the first one I ate had no cookies and the entire center had no chocolate sauce in it either with just a minimal amount around the rim of the outside of the cupcake.
I called and spoke to the manager and was told I could return the cupcakes for a refund. That’s wonderful are they going to resell them? I wasted my time, gas and effort to go there and the only resolution was to bring them all back for a refund.
How about replacing the ones they screwed up with new ones properly made instead?
I will make sure to go to the Howland location from now on because the Mines Rd location in Niles has poor customer service and has messed my food up in the past as well.

Jacala M definitely needs some more training on customer service and coaching on how to handle pressure better without snapping and getting smart with a customer. Waited over 10 minutes in the drive thru while just being stared out. To follow up the order was wrong and she insisted I pay .99 for a mistake she made. Manager was very helpful though and remade my order. Jacala had the smart remark to say “I handed you your receipt.” With the implication that I could not read. Thank you for a memorable experience.

This is my favorite this to get from dairy queen before i try all the food menu items from DQ next year for smash it foodie XL. the employees were super friendly and the food was done well . there was a little wait but trust me its worth it. The chicken was cooked well so were the fries and the classic chili cheese dog was jus amazing the chile cheese dog in my ratings were 7.1 out of 10 the BBQ chicken basket for me is 7.8 out of 10 well done eastwood DQ! see you in the next review “Smash it foodie XL”

Staff are friendly and try their best, but more often than not over the last several months there have been many times where our orders haven’t been right or we do a pick or drive through and get home only to find we are missing something and have to come back.
The one day my wife had to wait 20+ minutes to get the missing item because there is ever only one person working the register/front during busy periods. Another time our cold deserts were made way before we arrived and were left sitting out instead of stuck in the cooler, so they were already mostly melted-which seemed to be our problem not the store. Multiple times has a sundae been forgetten, and once we were given the entirely wrong order after being assured it was right. They’ve even tried to charge us for sauces that should have been included with chicken baskets that they left out.
Last night I went to get just a sundae and pretzel sticks. The sundae was given to me with the skimpiest amount of hot fudge, and when I asked about it I was assured they “give one full pump!” and told it I want more I could gladly pay another dollar-even the transaction was completed and the ice cream was starting to melt (it takes forever to get through the drive through). I said nevermind and to have a nice evening.
When I got home, I found that the pretzel have been changed and are so much thinner than they used to be-which is a DQ issue rather the this store but nonetheless frustrating. None of it, not the food, not the time to get it, not the price paid was worth the hassle and what we got.
Bottom line, even though there are some great people working at this one, skip this DQ. Although the bridge is still under construction, we’ll be making the longer drive to Howland DQ going forward where they take care of their customers instead of skimping on things and nickle and diming them.

Ordered two 7 dollar meals with the chicken tenders . They Forgot my blizzard and my sauce at the windows and realiZed they forgot the drinks when i got down the street . Come back had the worst coustmer service, i ask for an sauce charged me for it .

I ordered a royal New York cheesecake and the blizzard came with NO CHEESECAKE CHUNKS!! The person I was with asked for a swirl chocolate dipped cone and it came with only chocolate and NOT swirled. The lobby closes so soon and the line was so long I couldn’t go back in to have my order fixed.
