What an amazing place! We have lived in BA 13 years and just heard about this place last week. We tried it for lunch and it was incredible! My husband and kids were in hog heaven with the crab legs. Everything had great flavor and it was cooked perfectly. Excited to come back and bring family!

Me & my boyfriend came in earlier this week and we WILL be coming back! For starters, the sassy plates are a MUST. I got the sassy combo & my boyfriend got the fried shrimp and both were so good!! The service was amazing and very welcoming, our cashier Sophie helped a lot, I’m very indecisive and she steered me to the right direction with the combo. Our 5 y/o of course got McDonald’s but he was not turning down the King Cake slice she offered, she was so sweet along with the other girl working with her too (didn’t catch her name). Very friendly staff & amazing food, Thank you for bringing LA to our small town, T-Johnnys!❤️

Had the sassy shrimp platter. 15 pieces of big shrimp, 2 potatoes , 1 boiled egg, corn and some sausage. It was decent. The food was swimming in butter and not as spicy as I had hoped. Not bad, but not great.

UPDATE: I’ve been several times since my initial visit and every time it has been outstanding! But today if I could give six stars I would! Today was a snow day, I’m off work and noticed on Facebook they had a $12 boiled shrimp platter that contained 15 boiled shrimp, two potatoes, and a corn. I eat out a lot and I can tell you hands down this was by far the best boiled shrimp I have ever eaten and that includes all the coastal regions where I’ve eaten.
Heard of this place through Tulsa restaurant reviews on Facebook and glad I checked it out! Four of us went on a Friday night got there at 5:15 only one table full and one person in front of us by the time we ordered there was a long line. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you you can get bottles of soda pop, bottles of beer or margarita to drink. I got the sassy shrimp which consisted of 15 boiled shrimp, one hard boiled egg, one sausage, two potatoes, one corn on the cob smothered in a slightly spicy butter sauce. It is by far the best I have ever had! This is not a complaint by any means and I love butter but next time I will ask for very light butter or in a cup on the side. My three friends had the catfish baskets and fried shrimp basket. They said it was the best they had ever had. The coating was not too thick and it didn’t break and fall off when you bid into it but I will say the fried shrimp had a really spicy kick to it so I would not suggest that if you do not like spice. My boiled shrimp did not have a spicy taste to it if you ate it without the butter so it would be perfect for someone who did not like spice but wanted shrimp. All in all a great experience indefinitely worth the drive to coweta! So don’t let the distance keep you from going it was an easy drive. I have no complaints but my friends suggested that they should serve sweet tea. Since it’s a southern establishment though I don’t drink it We were all a little shocked to find out they did not have it But again not a complaint just a suggestion It is worth going to for a very, very fresh seafood!!

Tried this place while visiting my mom. The service was great. The food was good. The Boudin balls were better than the egg rolls in my opinion, but ate everything I ordered. The Boudin items came with their homemade sauce. The shrimp came with seasoned and regular butter. I don’t like butter but my mom said it was great! They have a whole freezer section and some shelf items to cook at home.

We’ve wanted to try T-Johnny’s for a while. You order at the counter and, I have to say, the girl who took our order wasn’t the friendliest in the world. No smiles or welcomes were offered. We ordered boudin balls and a meat pie just because we’d never had anything like that before and wanted to try them. The meat pie was kinda meh but the boudin balls were delicious! The outside was crispy and the inside was savory, spicy, and cheesy. It was honestly my favorite part of the meal. I’m not really a fan of seafood, but my wife loves this kind of stuff, so this was mostly for her. She ordered a “Sassy Combo” (sassy because of the buttery sauce it comes with…I think?) which had shrimp, crab, potatoes, corn, sausage, and an egg. I tried a couple of shrimp which were good but I’m not a huge fan of shrimp and the sausage was pretty good. My wife was thrilled! She said it was wonderful but she wouldn’t order the crab again just because of how much work it is to get into. We took about half the food home. It was pretty pricey for the two of us and I’m guessing most folks will spend even more because they’ll get their own meals rather than sharing like we did. Even so, judging by how pleased she was with the meal, I’m sure we’ll return!

I came in today with my husband around noon and let’s just say…… WERE HOOKED!
First & foremost I got the special, Catfish Atchafalaya & my husband got the fried shrimp & both were delicious! I loved the Christmas music playing & whoever trained the front girls did an amazing job, I didn’t get her name but the sweetest young girl at the counter was a big plus to our visit! She was very helpful and didn’t even throw that “teenage tude” if you know what I mean when us old people had 1000 questions, pat on the back to her! Also, spoke to the owner & he was a very nice guy and he was very helpful & friendly to every table!
11/10 T-Johnnys, we will definitely be back!

I got the sassy plate with shrimp and it was delicious. Great portion sizes too. Would have tried the crawfish but we were there buying a sack for a party the following day! It’s a bit pricy but the food was definitely worth it.

My aunt is from Louisiana and put my husband and I onto this spot. Today we stopped by for the first time and it was delicious! I’m from the east coast, so of course I tried the crab cake and I was blown away. It was probably the best one I’ve ever had. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo and that was so flavorful and had a nice spice. The boudin ball was spectacular as well. This place will definitely become one we frequent, staff is super sweet as well! We were very impressed.

As a Louisiana native living in Oklahoma for 5 years now it makes me so happy to be able to get my boudin fix and crawfish fix without having to drive all day for it. Also a big bonus they have down home sausage for sale there as well because you don’t get that outside of Louisiana hardly.
