Truly the best part of Gearhart! Great wine selection, yummy small bites and awesome service. Megan, the owner, was so fun to chat with and made an effort to sit and talk with all of her customers. We came two nights in a row (and almost went twice in one night!) The space itself is so cute thoughtful décor and there is plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. Don’t miss the Chex Mix!

Daughter’s truly is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the heart of Gearhart, just steps from the ocean, this elegant wine bar offers a warm welcome—thanks to the incredible host, Megan. You can feel the love and intention behind every detail, from the thoughtfully curated décor to the carefully selected tasting menu. Every wine we sampled was exceptional, and if the menu doesn’t spark your interest, there’s an entire wall of bottles available for on-site enjoyment. The selection leans local, with a standout focus on female winemakers and smaller, lesser-known (but absolutely delicious) labels.
Megan made us feel right at home; by the end of the night, it felt like we’d made a new friend. I can’t wait to return, catch up with her, and soak in the atmosphere on the outdoor patio!

In this case, a new addition to Clatsop County (where Alcohol By Volume was invented) in the form of a delicious little bistro and bottle shop! I now feel comfortable sharing with you all that Daughter’s in Gearhart is the real deal. The founder of this jewel on the coast, Megan, and her trusty sidekick Riley create a well designed ambience that appeals to both the novice and the connoisseur. Offering thoughtful tapas that pair nicely with delightful wines. Or beers. Or non-alcoholic(why?).
Daughter’s offers several spaces to fit your needs. From bar seating, to small groups, to banquet room, and a great outdoor space that is canine or feline(why?) friendly.

Daughters has taken the old school charm of the former sweet shop and turned it into a cozy, yet elevated, wine bar. The wine pour selection was lovely. Megan, the owner, was helpful in answering questions and offering pours to try before committing to a full glass. The wines I tried and the whipped ricotta small plate were both wonderful. I look forward to seeing what new wines their menu has and to explore their bottle offerings more. This is truly a coastal gem.
