Hello everyone, if you are wondering where to go for the best burger (a burger without bells and whistles and extra items that in my opinion doesn’t make a great burger!), in the Madison area, then look no further my friend. These are the best! Also, if you are looking for a delicious fish fry/grilled then I must say, I’ve yet to find a better place than Oakcrest. Plus the staff are a great group of friendly folks that I appreciate greatly! The only drawback is that the size of the building lacks the space to accommodate all of the loyal clientele (we are soooo many). So come early for a seat. I love this place!

Fries weren’t the best, but the curds were really good. The ribeye sandwich is quite literally meat and bun. The inside was a nice no frills bar.

Oak crest Tavern is a great traditional Tavern experience! It’s simple, authentic and something to be experienced.
Today I had the cube steak sandwich, which is something like a hamburger… But I think better! The patty of meat is coarsely, chopped grilled beautifully and served on a hamburger bun. The fries were great… The onion rings are great… And the cherry Pepsi is perfect.
