Visited The Coffee Shelf last weekend. This is a nice coffee shop with a pleasant home-like ambiance. They had good seating, internet and a good collection of books. When our group
entered the shop 15 minutes before their closing time, there were only two girls to take care of all the orders, but they did a fantastic job. Yes, there were some mistakes in orders.
drinks were served in different sizes than ordered and there was some confusion due to the last-minute rush, which is understandable. However, everyone liked what they ordered and the place. Maybe I will make another visit and give it another try. Personally, I ordered a hot hazelnut latte, which was decent, and my wife ordered a Danish, which was delicious. #coffee #coffeeShop #books

Such a cool place! So many books, a great layout, coffee, tea and a few sweet treats. A great space for everyone. I saw individuals working, a group of friends visiting, every combination. Stop in and check it out! They even have great deals for avid readers!

Polite staff, prices are average to this type of business, and the customer area offers a lot in the means of comfort and visual entertainment. The coffee shop is adorable and the staff members were really sweet. Our drinks were warm not hot and tasted ok. They offer a few baked goods. We got muffins and they were pretty good.

I’ve come in multiple times now and I absolutely adore it. The baristas are so sweet and knowledgeable, the menu is creative and has a wide range of options- not to mention delicious! I feel so cozy every time I come in. The owner is very sweet and it was endearing to hear her conversations with the employees. Sadly, I’m moving out of town but I’ll be back whenever I visit!

I absolutely adore The Coffee Shelf! I am an out-of-towner and always prioritize visiting The Coffee Shelf when I am in the Columbia, SC area. The coffee and other beverages are top notch. My current favorite drink is The Gatsby (salted carmel mocha) and my children love the frozen hot chocolate. The baristas are always so pleasant and knowledgeable. Not to mention the best books are always available to purchase.
