Catherine was our server. She was very kind and helped us figure out what we wanted to order.
In addition to their signature creations, the establishment also offers a variety of other beverages that we highly recommend. The coconut milk tea, with its rich, creamy flavor and pronounced coconut taste, is a must-try. The mango slushy, on the other hand, provides a refreshing and authentic taste of fresh mango.
Only four tables inside, but seems like ample seating outside. I’m under the impression this place doesn’t get much foot traffic. Clean inside!
The prices are decent for Ocala. I’d recommend, just be prepared.
I’ve never written a review like this before, but today’s experience at Ramen House of Ocala was truly shocking. Let me start by saying the older lady and the young lady working the floor were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to good service. They were the only bright spot in what turned into a nightmare visit.
The issue was the man who appears to be either the owner or closely related to the establishment. His behavior was unbelievably arrogant and completely unacceptable for someone dealing with paying customers. Instead of resolving a simple question, he became argumentative, dismissive, and ultimately refused to sell me another order — something I’ve never experienced in any restaurant.
This man has no business being in charge of anything customer-facing. His attitude overshadowed the good work of the two ladies and ruined what should have been a pleasant meal. If there is a way to reach the actual owner, they need to know exactly who they have representing their business. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it left a terrible impression.
Firstly, they were out of some items (rice for instance) so the hibachi was eliminated and that is what we all originally went there for. Surprise, surprise. Well we ended up with our Plan B dishes and those are what I have to rate, unfortunately.
Secondly, the food was good, cooked fresh and prepared as requested. That was fine, portion was excellent and they were out of some sauce my daughter wanted and the drink they couldn’t also make because they were out of something.
Lastly, they did have a clean restaurant with bathrooms that were adequately supplied with paper products.
I would go back, in hopes they will be prepared with supplies because it was a pleasant experience and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good although less authentic than I’d like, but I’m in America now, so beggars can’t be choosers my mom says. So it will have to do.
I recommend you give it a go
