A little taste of the North East hidden in Northern Cal! Stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday, Staff was very polite and the food came out fairly quick. The restaurant has a nice little outdoor space in the back, but is fairly small inside. Not the best Lobster Roll I’ve ever had but I’d still say it was surprisingly good. The Fried shrimp was excellent! If you happen to find yourself in the area this is a must try.

Tried a few dishes for dinner here and enjoyed them, for the most part. Although there didn’t appear to be a lot of people when we first arrived, there was a long wait for food because we didn’t realize a lot of people were already waiting for their food in the rear patio. Of the dishes we ordered, I especially liked the mussels and clams special. The fried clams were a little gritty, but still tasty. The lobster was the least impressive to me; although we ordered it sautéed, it felt as if they just pulled it from the fridge, heated it briefly, and threw it on top of the salad. Despite this, it was good enough that I wouldn’t mind coming back to try some other items on the menu.

This was our first visit and we enjoyed our meal. It was a Saturday and the the store was pretty crowded but the food was so amazing that it worths the wait. Shrimp and lobsters were fresh and tasty. We’ll defenitely visit again on our way to Tahoe.

Had my first ever lobster roll here, and it was awesome. I got the California style, with avo and Siracha. It was a little smaller than expected but we all know quality is preferred to quantity. My husband had the fish and chips and those were amazing too, not too much breading and good size chunks of fish. Our kid got the kids Mac and cheese which was a little bland but I think it’s designed to have lobster in it and not to be plain. Overall freshness and service was 5 starts, can’t wait to try more on a return visit. Definitely the best fish and chips in Truckee and North Lake.

Excellent options and delicious seafood! Great to satisfy that lobster roll craving. However, prices are very steep for what you get. Semi-understandable for the seafood, but still adds up very quickly.

It was a great little find while rolling through Truckee. The price was steep but its lobster so you assume it will be. I had the Classic lobster roll and the only complaint was the sandwhich was so good I wish it was bigger. Ill be back for sure.

The food tasted good, but the lobster roll was way smaller than I expected. The lobster roll cost $27, I would not recommend ordering it.

Food was amazing! However for 3 tacos it was $17 and some change. For that price I wished they put more fish in the taco. Each taco had 3 small chunks of fish. It was for that reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 5. Staff was nice and helpful.

When it comes to Morgan’s, this small fish shack has all the heart and quality one could hope for. You just won’t get any fresher New England style seafood unless you were sitting on the coast of Maine. It’s surreal to fine this place in Truckee, CA. By far, some of the best fish I’ve had anywhere! It rivals to best seafood restaurants in the country. Fresh is Best and at Morgan’s you will be WOWed by the quality and flavors of this small little gem.

Loved the crab cakes and the lobster sandwich. Will be back again and will try the other menu if we are in the area.
