FANTASTIC AND UNIQUE MENU – We are so glad we stopped in to give Teresa’s Cafe a try. We absolutely enjoyed everything, and especially the eggplant dish. Thanks for a great meal!

I love this place. Sure, you’ll say, “Another 5 Star review.” Yes, yes will. First Regan. I mean, can you get a more attentive yet gives you space dinner host who has to tell you the worst news (“We’re out of bunny bites”) and yet still gives some other suggestions and you walk away forgetting the bunny bites were the whole reason you came?!

Teresa’s Next door has an extensive bourbon, whiskey and scotch (a lot of varieties), Tripels and other Belgian beers, and a kitchen that keeps serving great food. Hands down nothing better in the area.

I had three dishes. The first was the Foie Gras which while small, packed a huge delicious taste. The second dish, was the steak Frites which was somewhat disappointing as I ordered it medium rare, but still felt a bit tough around the edges. The frites I was told were the best around, but didn’t quite meet the level of best. The show stopper out of the three was the last dish, the meatball, bread and ricotta. An absolute blow away dish. Very, very good. The bar service could have been more attentive, but being in hospitality, I’ll give the bartender the benefit of the doubt as he was quite busy. I would still recommend this place and especially that meatball dish!

I had been here before with co-workers and enjoyed it so I made a reservation for myself and my husband. Like other reviews noted, since we were a table of 2, we were seated at a tiny table right inside the drafty door. I asked if we could have one of the empty booths and they said no, after 5 PM, they cannot give them to parties of 2. I asked to moved one table over near the wall (further from the door) but no, they had a party coming in later they needed that table for. So, basically the message I received was, even though you are here now, we are more concerned with accommodating others that are coming later? Fine, we agree to take the cold table. I see from other people’s reviews, they have had the same experience. Also, like other reviews have posted, we saw 3 people fall coming up the steps in the 1.5 hrs we were there. One went down really hard. This has to be an ongoing issue. The food was good, our server was nice but honestly, the overall experience was lacking given how cold we were as well as the concern we had for those that tripped. A night out is supposed to be an enjoyable experience and it just wasn’t. We won’t be back any time soon.

Really good local restaurant, with adjacent bar. food was great. Lamb meatball and rabbit loin appetizers were tasty. I had pasta with locally foraged mushrooms, delicious, friend had a tower of ribs. Great selection of local, regional and Belgian beer. De Garre (IYKYK) and Pliny on the same menu… fantastic .

The menu, food, and drink are top notch. The host staff was pleasant.

Our server seemed to have an attitude problem. I have never had a server make it so clear that they do not want you there and they think you’re wasting their time by not buying enough. I think his name may have been Kevin.

I was there with two potential business connections to meet for the first time and have drinks and appetizers.

When we weren’t sure about what to get, he kept showing up every 30 seconds and asking if we were ready yet.

We ordered apps and tried to give our menus back. He would not take the menus until he was convinced we were not getting dinner.

At the end, I asked to split the check and he repeated what I asked in disbelief. “You need a split check?” What’s the big deal?

Then he made a big deal about how one person with us didn’t buy anything. They weren’t hungry, but the server’s attitude can’t be discounted as a factor in them not ordering. They said “so we’re just splitting the check 2 ways because this person didn’t order anything.” Thanks for clarifying I guess. I left feeling insulted.

I will not be back for any future business meetings. I may not look valuable to that server, but that has nothing to do with my value✌

Had a great experience on Saturday night during the Wayne Music Festival. They got us seated outside quickly. Had this very refreshing and tasty dark rum Jamaican drink that was a specialty drink this month. Went with cornmeal and rice flour coated artichoke appetizer that was incredible along with these baby potatoes in butter, salt and parsley…simple and delicious. Went with the classic chicken parm with linguine in a fresh tomato sauce – I loved the panko breading giving the chicken a nice texture and the fresh mozzarella. Great meal!!

Ordered out from here for the first time… so yum! The tiramisu is prob one of the best ive ever had & i got the gnocci & a side of meatballs. Im pretty picky about tomato sauce & meatballs and both were really good. My husband is also picky about his burgers and he loved it from here. For how much i ate id normally feel overstuffed but i love that it isnt giving me the itis like other places that overload with salt. Will definitely order from here again!
