Garden Grove at the Walt Disney World Swan was a pleasant surprise and a great way to start our day. The atmosphere is what really sets it apart — the large dome ceiling and central tree make the dining room feel whimsical and bright, almost like eating in an indoor garden. Even without the character dining that sometimes happens here, it still feels fun and unique, especially for families.

The food was good and well-prepared. My daughter absolutely loved her Mickey waffles, which were perfectly golden and came with all the classic toppings. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and was really impressed — the eggs were poached just right, and the hollandaise was creamy without being heavy. I tried the avocado toast and pancakes, both of which were pretty good. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Everything tasted fresh and came out warm, which isn’t always guaranteed at a busy hotel restaurant.

Service was friendly and efficient, even with the breakfast rush. Our server checked in often and made sure coffee and juice stayed full. The buffet and menu options offered a nice variety without feeling overwhelming, and everything we tried felt like it had been made with care.

While prices are a bit high, that’s expected for a Disney-area resort restaurant. The food quality, cheerful atmosphere, and convenience made it worth it. The Garden Grove strikes a great balance between relaxing and fun — a lovely spot for families, couples, or anyone wanting a good breakfast in a beautiful space.

Overall, a solid 4-star experience: tasty food, great service, and a charming setting that makes breakfast feel just a little more special.

Great experience at the Garden Grove restaurant this morning. Our server Karen was beyond friendly and caring. Although I did not specify that I had a gluten allergy, she was able to sense that by the way I ordered I either had a gluten sensitivity or an allergy and decided to take it upon herself to have my potatoes made without flour. Well, I did not ask for this the fact that she was able to sense that something was different about my order and to bring me out separate potatoes that would not made with gluten was amazing. This server was beyond friendly, caring, and dedicated quite frankly she was one of the nicest people we encountered during our stay at Disney hats off to Karen and the great food at the Garden Grove restaurant.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on the last day of our trip to the Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan. We had originally planned on attempting to go on a weekend since the breakfast buffet features characters but we ended up going on a Monday morning around 10:30am. The restaurant was not busy at all. In fact, I would say there were no more than ten tables of Guests at that time of day. The atmosphere inside has all the tables circling a large tree with flickering lanterns in the middle of the room while the buffet was in a small area on the outer wall. As for the selections available I must say that it was lacking compared to what other buffets have offered in hotels such as Hampton Inn and the like. We were surprised when our server told us that if we wanted toast we had to ask her for it and she would go and get it, unlike most other buffets I have ever been to where bread is readily available. Even the Mickey shaped waffles that are standard at all Disney buffets were not on the buffet itself and had to be asked for. However, despite the limitations on offerings the food itself was very good and I could not have been happier with the omelet station and the taste of the food I had. The only other negative I would say is that there were a group of kids from one family who kept running around the restaurant playing hide-and-seek and otherwise causing commotion, even so much as almost running into one woman carrying a plate of food. The servers and other staff did not say anything to the parents (who were just sitting at their table oblivious to their kids) in an attempt to get the youngsters under control.

Garden Grove is a restaurant located in the Dolphin hotel.

The dining area is circular in shape and is centered around a large tree.

During this visit my wife and I each ordered the biscuits and gravy. It also comes with home fries and eggs any style. I chose scrambled eggs and it was a very healthy portion. The home fries were also seasoned well and had a nice crispiness to them. The biscuits and gravy were also good.

Overall I would recommend visiting Garden Grove for breakfast.

My husband and I got breakfast here and were really impressed. The omelet and pancakes are so good. Our server was attentive and fast. Walking by the pastry kitchen added a little sweetness.

I tried going here, but the people who were standing there didn’t even tell me the place was closed. It was weird because online, it said they were open.

We went back the next day and placed an order for to-go.

We ordered:

1. 3 egg ham and cheese omelette – Cooked perfectly, but for the price, I don’t understand why it doesn’t come with potatoes. Sourdough toast was hard

2. How you like them – 2 over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns, and english muffin. This was the perfect amount of food for me. Hash browns were super crunchy, and the english muffin was nice and soft.

3. Side of sausage – this was plump and juicy. Very flavorful.

We chose to get food here because it was located in the hotel we were staying at. The food was good, but a little overpriced, I think. Maybe you’re paying for the convenience. Service was lacking, it seemed like they don’t like working and would rather talk to their co-workers.

I really enjoyed breakfast here. We got filling meals for a much better price than what the buffets were charging- without the pressure to overeat before hitting the parks. Our server was on top of things as well

Located inside the Swan hotel, I had higher expectations from this place. The concept of the big tree inside the restaurant is pretty interesting. The service was alright and the waitress was nice with accommodating our party. They offer a lot of healthy breakfast options which sound better than they taste. Out of all the different dishes i’ve tried here I would strongly recommend the Avocado Toast which was absolutely delicious.

I arrived yesterday at 2:00 PM. My friend’s room was ready for check-in, but I was told mine wasn’t. I had to leave all my belongings in my friend’s room and go back and forth to the front desk at least five times asking about my room.

No one ever sent me a message or called to let me know when it was ready. I finally went back again at 5:15 PM, and only then was I given a room—far from my friend’s.

I wasted more than three hours of my day dealing with this. What makes it worse is that no one even apologized.

Went there for Xmas eve. We were the first ones seated, so the dishes were warm and looked perfect. It was pretty limited, but the dessert table was fabulous! The creme brulee was pretty weak and didn’t have that crispy burnt sugar topping that I love, but the eggnog custard was divine!
