So you want to smoke hookah in Lawrenceville? This is a phenomenal spot for hookah and food or drinks. This night in particular featured a DJ and a belly dancer! The staff was very kind and helpful with the menu and various flavors for the hookah. A good time for all.

Went recently with friends Serish and Zain who were very regular here . They were running a promotion with a hookah an on tray , salad and drink , two samosaa and a coke for 35 dollars .
We’re ordering hookah but the server suggested the combo . We said yes to the combo rather than buying hookahs but the server punched a hookah and the combo . But she didn’t tell us she did that mistakenly rather she said she would give us extra refills!! How ever we were tired and didn’t sit for a long time so we didn’t ask for the refills but when the bill came we were amazed to see she punched 2 hookah separately with 2 combos . The server didn’t even admit it was her fault. Never going back to Anatolia

It is with deep regret that I have to write this review. It is an end to an era. This used to be my favorite place. Unfortunately, the manager, RJ has left and is no longer running this place. They cannot keep steady staff. The food is overpriced, never in stock, & underwhelming. The food menu is also too big and not diverse enough. The downtown location charges $3-$5 less per food item. The hookah used to be the best in metro Atlanta, however, the best hookah person is no longer there. They had another guy who was of Spanish descent who was pretty good at it, but personal issues had then hire who I guess is a family member. He is very confused, overwhelmed, & the hookah he makes is terrible. It barely smokes (coals not hot enough upon adding to hookah), some of the times, the shisha burns (too much shisha in the tray-probably sticking to the foil), & it takes forever to get a hookah delivered to the table. If you have multiple hookahs at the table, one person could smoke alone for 10-20 minutes while the other person awaits their hookah arrival. Hookah is priced well and there are numerous flavors you may only find at Anatolia. The drinks are really expensive. 3 drinks in Anatolia can easily cost $60-if they have the liquor or mixers that you want. The establishment itself needs a good deep cleaning. The bathroom hasn’t been fully stocked or clean in over a year. I am not sure why they don’t hire a cleaning team. The staff is hit or miss. So many have quit. It’s always new people and some are good but most aren’t. The owner’s wife is sweet and efficient, however, she hasn’t been there. With her and her husband just taking over within the past 6 months, they should always be there. You cannot manage from home. Lastly, the DJs mostly are just not good. They have a DJ Thurs-Sun and sometimes no DJ Thursday or Sunday. The DJs come there and randomly play music. No kind of sets or anything. They could play Marvin Gaye, followed by Sexxy Red, then Latin music-very odd. I have watched crowds leave due to the Dj being horrible. The best Dj they have is the girl (Lebands I think-but she’s barely there) . Anatolia needs to hire a great and experienced manager, experienced hookah crew, experienced and polite bartenders/servers, a marketing person, a cook, a great/reliable DJ who can rock any party, and a cleaning crew. Otherwise, I do not see how this business model will survive. They have no identity at the establishment. The good, the drinks, the decor, the weird themed nights are all over the place. I truly believe this may be the end of an era.

If you’re looking for a spot to chill with a cool vibe in the Lawrenceville area. They hosted my daughter’s 30th surprise birthday party and the planning & execution were worry free. They went beyond my expectations! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The food, music & entertainment was top tier. Thanks a million Anatolia for EVERYTHING!!!! IT WAS DEFINITELY A MOVIE!!!

Had such a great time at Anatolia Cafe and Hookah Lounge! The hookah was smooth, cocktails were tasty, and the vibe was amazing. The DJ kept the music going all night and the belly dancer put on a fantastic show. Perfect spot for a fun Saturday night out with friends—we’ll definitely be back!
