This is a small place that packs the food. Spent $40 for two. Smoked half chicken, ribs and brisket. Creamy coleslaw and waffle fries. Had our own drinks. Places to sit outside. Very good meal. Lot’s of left overs ♥️ Food was tender and tasty

Absolutely in love with this place. Stopped once on our trip up to the U.P from Grand Haven area and was so impressed with the nachos and soup plus the customer service that we had to make a special trip again on our fall color tour. Got the BBQ mac and love it! wish they were closer to us and we’d be regular customers. Highly recommend.

Reviewing as a CATERER for our wedding, not as a restaurant:
We found this place very expensive for what you get, we did a buffet style and had all of our guests shown up people would have left hungry. Their website pricing is misleading and outdated, you pay extra for everything despite what it says. We even paid for their staff and our wedding was at castle farms, no china provided even though they originally told me that venue included it. What annoyed me most was we paid extra for their upgraded salad and it was clearly thrown away, I tried to ask about this after and they just stopped answering me, 0 accountability. The food tasted decent (very good chicken, pork loin was not great). In our opinion I would choose one of the many other caterers, you can get way more food for a better price and I’m sure they wouldn’t throw it out on you. My friend used another bbq company for hers, she had double the people and it was a similar price, they also got dessert and had a bunch to take home.

I was extremely disappointed… my first time in this part of Michigan, and I got so excited when I saw ‘Alabama White Sauce’ on the menu, that I mentioned my Alabama roots to the red-headed teenager at the window… who then DID NOT give me the side of the sauce I ordered… even when I asked a second time when picking up my order. The pit beans tasted like burnt ketchup mixed with vinegar. The meat was over salted and tough. I dislike giving bad reviews, but with poor service and food… the management needs to reconsider their employee selection and work on their cooking skills.

I want to love this place, I really do. The food is pretty good and that’s what keeps us coming back but the last two times we’ve ordered something it was missing something. The first time the Cobb salad came without the bacon and the second time our kids meal came without applesauce. We get it to go and live 25 minutes away which is kind of a bummer to find out when you get home and there’s really nothing that can be fixed. So I would just recommend checking your food thoroughly before leaving when picking up to make sure everything is there.

Stopped into Pigs Eatin’ Ribs and had the BBQ brisket sandwich with cornbread — both were absolutely fantastic. The brisket was tender, full of flavor, and piled high, and the cornbread was the perfect side (just don’t tell my grandmother it was better than hers!). You can really taste the difference in their slow-smoked barbecue.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has that great hometown vibe. Easily the best BBQ in Northern Michigan.

A long time plan to eat some Pigs Eatin Ribs food came to a screeching halt when I got there and found their parking lot knee deep in snow.
Not just closed for the day but apparently for the season.
I checked Google maps to see what the hours were before i went and it said NOTHING about being closed. SOOOO DISSAPOINTING!!!

We had Big hopes for this place. But everything I ordered had the same seasoning on it. It was hard to get the taste from my mouth. Wrong type of baked beans and …… Sorry we won’t be back

I ordered two Big Pigs, pulled pork and a brisket, for my father’s celebration of life. My father was a BBQ kind of man. He would have been proud. The brisket was so very tender and melted in your mouth. The pulled pork cooked just right. The sauces and sides were full of flavor. My family devoured the potato salad! The communication from Jill was excellent and friendly. I made the arrangements 8 months in advance, and not once was there a problem. They’re reliable AND tastey!

Our experience was very good here. Nice people making some damn good BBQ! Sliced Brisket was awesome, and the double stack brisket burger with pulled pork was ridiculous. Chips are crunchy and tasty. Great find on our little road trip.
