Reviews
wings: 10/10 would definitely recommend ranch with it
burgers: 10/10 i really liked it
ribs: 5/10 my sister didnt love them said there was hardly any meat and not a lot of barbecue sauce
the waiters were very nice and it didnt take long at all for our food to arrive i will definitely return.
Service may get slow but only because they’re busy.
The sushi, incredible. You wouldn’t expect sushi to be good at an American Modern Grill, but it’s phenomenal.
The ribs are excellent. The salads are a great healthy entree option, and taste amazing.
Old Fashioned, well made. Not too much simple syrup.
Also, a great spot to watch sports.
Devil’s Halo beer was a good start.
Don’t be telling me you got me when my beer glass goes dry. Beer was cold, though. ~Curtis
And then pucker lips visiting other patrons instead of helping out.
And then the skinny hostess with the mostess was NOT.
It’s okay to have regulars, but it is just as important that new patrons feel like they are regulars. Because then they will return.
The food was good. Sweet potato fries cooked perfectly. Classic hamburger was good too. I just needed more 1000 island. I requested more and was brought out expeditiously.
Watch out for the credit card surcharge in small print on the menu and automatically added to the tab.
Would not recommend unless there’s nowhere else to go.
Food goodness is not always better than good service.
It is nice that happy hour starts at 2 p.m.
We arrived to a very lively atmosphere …that was great. Our waitress Jessica could not have been more friendly and helpful.
We made our menu choices but noticed the patrons next to us had send back a fish entree 2 times to have problems rectified. They were very frustrated. Thats a total of 3 servings gone wrong.
Thinking nothing of we it we put in our order and probably waited an hour to get our entrees. Mine was missing a side that I had read automatically came with the dish online.
Jessica had to explain to me that had changed and management a few weeks ago changed that 2 side option a few weeks ago. She apologized for the discrepancy and that they had not yet updated the online menu.
Not a huge deal but after waiting an hour to be served then told the extra side would now cost me 8 dollars more was irritating.
The kitchen was clearly in chaos. The waitress was constantly having to apologize to people.
Overall good place unfortunately we had our first visit on a night clearly experiencing some issues..This particular night there was a lot of chaos. Mainly from the kitchen.
Kudos to Jessica as she handled the stress well but felt badly for her. The wait staff always takes the heat when something clearly was off in the kitchen.
Will def try again but will probably steer clear of the entrees ( pricey for what you get after eliminating the two side offer) and stick to the burgers and sandwiches.
Scottsdale’s All American Modern Sports Grill earned three priority violations on Dec. 3. A health inspector recorded multiple possibilities for cross-contamination in the walk-in cooler, including raw tuna stored above cooked pork ribs, raw ground beef stored over tuna and raw bacon stored over cooked crab cakes. There were also issues with temperatures. Many items, including shrimp, crab cakes, salmon, chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese and salsa, were too warm. Foods that were above safe temperatures were found in different areas across the kitchen, in the reach-in fridge, the sushi station cooler and the expo cooler.
