Pros:
-We thought the burritos we pretty good
-Chips and salsa was ok, wife didn’t like either of them
Cons:
– Walked in no greeting, so we sat down, waited a few minutes for a very unhappy woman (older lady) to come with chips, she didn’t want to be there or just not a happy person.
She wasn’t helpful or pleasant in any way, we asked what meats could come in the chimichanga, she said “all of them” we asked which do you offer and she rambled so quick we wondered why she bothered.
– We ordered diet cokes, turns out they are like we are in Mexico and we get cans. We drink quite a bit with our Mexican food, so we in no way wanted to pay that much for a bunch of cans, PLUS she never came back to the table until the bill came. (btw it was dead in there)
-We are also unsure if the chips get refilled or they need to be paid for each time since again she never came back.
-We ordered just 2 burritos… because we decided we really didn’t want to eat there at that point but didn’t want to find somewhere else to go either. So get something small and quick. She brought us burrito plates.. so ignored our order. We didn’t want to bother so just ate them
Moral of the story service was 0/10
So I would not go here again

This place has horrible service. I paid $8.42 plus tip $1.00. 1-Taco & portion beans. Women had greasy hair, poor appearance. Threw the cup at the cook to fill with beans. Taco was $4.00 and the maybe half filled canned refried beans another $4.00. The foil was left open, leaked onto bag, bean portion cup half filled. As I collected my bag…I asked if it included the salsa, ( she scratched her head and sarcastic look) shook her head yes like I was an idiot for asking. See photos.

Update: I was in San Antonio for 6 days. Every morning i was here for breakfast: 1 or 2 tacos everyday. I crave it every morning since i left. The corn tortillas are divine! Every variation of taco was fantastic (i’m drooling at the memory).
The restaurant is always spotlessly clean, the service is top notch (i really love the staff), and i feel welcome. Never leave hungry.

Consistently outstanding food and service. I always eat breakfast there when I’m in town and sometimes lunch. Since I’m eating some of the foods over and over again, over a period of years, I can attest that the quality never wavers. The service is on par with nicer restaurants where the staff is well trained in table service as well as customer service.
The dining area and restrooms are spotlessly clean. One waitress was wiping down clean tables this morning and quietly singing along to the music playing in the restaurant. The music is very nice and never too loud. Yesterday they turned it down even lower because my papa has hearing aids was was having trouble hearing over the music. I love the high-backed quiet booths and long tables for large families to sit together and enjoy a meal.
I throughly enjoyed the barbacoa taco on corn tortilla this morning with lime, onions, and cilantro. I stop and lay the taco down between each bite so I can savour the unctuous shredded meat with the crunch of onion, sour lime, and bite of the red salsa. The second taco was refrito, also on corn tortilla because they are outstanding, because I always have beans for breakfast. This made my belly so happy!!

The Food was Good, but in all fairness I only had 1 taco. The Staff was very friendly and kind. The service was really fast. The atmosphere lighting was a little to dark for me, but I am older and find it hard to see in law lighting. The place was really clean. They have really nice-looking tables. This place can support a large party. The restroom was only a 1 person at a time area.
The parking lot is small, and very few packing spots are available. I really liked their selection of menu items and plan to come back and Dine in.

Great, Authentic and the best in town!
If you come to San Antonio you need to visit 2 places.. the Alamo and Jalisco Cantina.
Food is great, tastes fresh, served straight out of the grill. The food catches all authentic flavors and above all on a reasonable price.
Service is excellent, as soon as you sit down the servers start taking care of you. They are all respectable and with a lot of attention to detail.
Best deal for me, the 1 pound barbacoa. Best meal for postworkout.
Must try this place.

I’ve been coming to this place for YEARS. I recently moved out of town, I still come back into town occasionally just for this place. The sweet tea is perfect and the enchiladas are consistently delicious, the table salsa is the best I’ve had. And don’t get me started with the service! Best staff that never misses a refill! I love coming here, but this is my taqueria, you have to find your own. lol

I was looking for a restaurant near me after my doctor’s appointment. This restaurant came up and I decided to give it a try. I felt the price was a little too high but considering the location I can understand the price. The food did not disappoint. Great quality! Service was good as well. Staffs are friendly. I got what I paid for. I’ll come back again if I’m in the area looking for a decent Mexican Food.

I had regular bacon&egg tacos on flour to-go. I paid $6 for 2 tacos. Somewhat reasonable these days. Got home and they were amazing
While waiting for my order to be made I looked around and the place was spotlessly cleaned, well maintained and full of smiling faces.
The staff who helped me were very nice and seemed enthusiastic about sharing their faves. I’m already excited to try them for lunch or dinner plates very soon!
