Zenko has been one of favorite Sushi Bars in south Orange County for over a decade. The all you can eat option is SO worth the price and they let you have most everything on their menu. Their baked muscles are exquisite. The rolls are awesome. I’m not sure how they do it, but everything tastes so fresh. I love the bar seating. Expect a wait of 20 to 30 minutes almost every night. Maybe even up to an hour on the weekend. You won’t be disappointed if you like Japanese cuisine. I always get the Tempura Veggies and a Jalapeno Roll as well. Yummy!

We came here on a Tuesday for AYCE lunch. We were overall satisfied with the experience. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We were the only customers there at the time. Our orders came out pretty quickly.
The sushi was fresh and I enjoyed everything I ordered. The appetizer section was lacking my favorite items that are commonly offered at similar sushi restaurants in this price range. There is no shrimp tempura, beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki or salmon collar. The fish to rice ratio wasn’t good- too much rice in the nigiri. I also wish they offered seared & cajun nigiri like other restaurants do. They don’t offer green tea ice cream or mochi ice cream to end the meal which would have been nice. Making these changes would earn a 5 star review and put it on par with the better AYCE sushi restaurants. Otherwise not a bad option if you’re in the area.
Prices: weekday lunch Mon-Fri till 4pm $33. Dinner, Holidays and Weekends all day $38

This place is flat-out disgusting. The floors are sticky, the counters are dirty, and nothing looks like it gets cleaned the way it should. It’s honestly unsanitary and makes you question how this place is even allowed to operate.
And the management? Absolutely terrible. The manager walks around yelling at employees, snapping at people for no reason, and creating a straight-up hostile environment. You can see the workers stressed out and uncomfortable while he’s barking orders at them.
He even forces employees to work four hours, then take a four-hour break, and come back later just to finish the shift. Who does that? It’s completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and feels like he’s taking advantage of his staff.
If you care about clean food, decent service, or basic respect for workers, avoid this place. Corporate seriously needs to come down here and check what’s really going on.

Great place to come get AYCE sushi. The food is amazing and fresh. The workers here are so amazing and freshly I truly have a great time whenever I am here. The vibe that the owner gives is amazing and honestly treats you as family. I will always recommend this place 1000% worth it.

honestly the first time coming here was a horrible experience, but that was three years ago I gave this place a second chance and honestly you can get cheaper sushi but if you eat as much its gonna be the same price…i love sushi and this place worth your buck for lunch..dinner time is a little pricey but thats okay make it worth it if your gonna eat here..keep up the good work guys and keep the food fresh as you should…

I’ve been coming to Zenko for over 5 years. Sadly, their sushi is no longer high quality. Before the pandemic they had all you can eat sushi that was incredible! I enjoyed my food there every time I went. However now, all you can eat is sub-par. It’s nice that they still offer it though! They are one of the last all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in the area. Just don’t expect high quality fish.
They receive 3 stars because I still go here, and I believe that they provide good service! Please check them out, it’s worth a visit!

This place is a joke I pay way less for more in other places. Eve. TThey claim to be all you can eat, but then they start crying when you order a few rolls all together. Stop going here theirs a better spot in lake forest that doesn’t complain about the amount you eat they should just take off that sign in the front

Let me start off by saying we love no where near this restaurant but drive over an hour to come about once or twice a year. It is worth it! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. The variety of rolls in the all you can eat can’t be beat. I highly suggest the BSCR and the baked green mussels, they are a must!
