Social Profile:

Nicky’s Undefeated is serving up the very best cheesesteaks, and hoagies, and Italian American classics in Metro Atlanta. It was founded by two friends who have both lived in Atlanta for 20 years but are originally from Philly and South Jersey. For two decades, they’ve bonded over their love of Philly sports and a good proper Sandwich. “If you can’t find a way, create one!”… and that’s what they did. Nicky’s Undefeated opens this summer on Main Street in Tucker, Georgia. Nicky’s has “imported” the best ingredients like bread from South Jersey and Deli meat from Philly and aims to bring you the ultimate sandwich experience.

This place is so neat. The interior decor is great and very sporty. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing. The crinkle cut fries were really good, especially with the old bay seasoning where the fries are tossed in it (some places are cheap and will sprinkle a little on top – not here!). The service was nice, I never felt rushed. Very family friendly. The cheese squares were good. The kid’s pizza is huge. Literally 2 slices of pizza. My kids could’ve easily shared one order. Will definitely return.

Absolutely the best cheesesteak in the ATL! Between Philly and Atlanta, this is #2 on my list with a 9.5 / 10 rating! Excellent Liscio’s roll and they give you a pretty good amount of some of the best steak meat I’ve ever had. It was fresh, hot and flavorful without any condiments being added to it. The cooper sharp cheese was melted and mixed into the meat so that you could taste it with every bite. Yes, that is water ice that you see! I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Should Not See Me
Downtown Tucker has seen a bit of a revival lately. As late as 10-15 years ago there really wasn’t much here aside from some straggler businesses from decades past. Now, they actually have places you would visit for food.

Nicky’s is one of the newer places here. They really decided to go all in on the Philly theme; you’ll see the Eagles paraphernalia everywhere. And it’s not just for show; apparently their buns are shipped over from Philly.

I’ve been here a few times. Cheesesteaks are definitely one of the more authentic ones in Metro Atlanta area, and definitely one of the best in Tucker. They also have rotating selections of limited time offers; it can be a hit and miss, as I had their meatball subs twice—and while the first time was amazing, second was drier and decidedly less amazing. It was just ok.

But I think it’s a great addition to the downtown area. Hope they stick around.

Let’s start w some background- I grew up outside of Philly, so I have had a couple cheesesteaks and hoagies.

Walking in – even without the Super Bowl winning Eagles flags, Flyers and Sixers gear it has the feel of a hometown / mom and pop cheesesteak joint. You can see the flattop / grill wit onions and steaks being grilled, the “back” of the house.
Back home typically no chairs / booths, get your food and get out.

Nicky’s has tables and booths so it has a come in and soak up some Philly. The small bar / counter is a good idea allows for quick seat.

Menu is spot on – allows you to order how you want, but also provides some great “suggestions” and yes if you just don’t know – order Founders special.

We ordered a small Italian hoagie and small cheesesteak fries (old bay seasoning).

Knocked both out of the park. The rolls nice crunch on the outside, soft inside. The steak high quality no gristle, onions grilled not killed. The cooper sharp creamy melted – not so much that the steaks and onions are lost.

The hoagie, a solid Italian – decent deli meat, Shredded lettuce, tomato and onions. Plenty of salt pepper and oregano. Next time I’ll get heavy oil and vinegar- I like that bite.

We will definitely be back, Nicky’s makes me feel like being back home.

I was born in Philly and raised 15 minutes from center city. I moved to Tucker about 3 years ago. I cannot believe that I didn’t discover this place before. I got the overwhelming feeling “I am home”. There was a mini statue on the bar that was the same as the one in love park, the Christmas tree was a mini version of the one in Rittenhouse Square, Eagles all over the place. They had the pendants from the university where Dad went on the went, and the university my brother and sister in law went to, and the universities that I went too on the wall. The food? OMG the food. It was not a Philly style cheesesteak. It WAS a Philly cheesesteak. OMG. It was wonderful. The fries were the same style as the ones from home that I liked with cheese. The Philly water ice was the authentic ones from home with the same flavors. It was so smooth with no ice-chunks Thank you for bringing me back home.

Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks with outstanding integrity.

I went to Nicky’s Undefeated Cheesesteaks last night for dinner with a friend and had a great experience overall. Maddie, who took our orders, was welcoming and patient with my friend which was his first time and a little overwhelmed by all of the great options. The cheesesteaks are legit. Authentic Philly style with real cooper sharp cheese sets them apart. We spent over $60 for two meals with long hots peppers, and the quality matched it.

What really stood out was the hospitality. By the time we finished, I asked if it was possible to place a to-go order after realizing it was near closing time (7:55 pm) for my family, to which Walt was gracious enough to allow.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized I had received a half sandwich instead of a full. When I called the restaurant today, all I mentioned was that I had eaten there the night before, and before I could even explain further, Walt immediately recognized me, apologized, and offered a full refund along with a free lunch on my next visit. That level of awareness and ownership truly stood out.

Mistakes happen, but how a business responds says everything. Walt went above and beyond what I personally have experienced to make things right. I’m genuinely grateful and will absolutely be returning with some new faces.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic cheesesteaks and owners who truly care about their customers and the quality of food and service.

My husband and I tried Nicky‘s for the first time this past Saturday. My husband woke up with a craving for a Philly cheesesteaks and this is the closest place to where we live in Conyers that had the highest ratings. OMFG!!!! ❤️ We were not disappointed. This place was fantastic. I haven’t had a Philly cheesecake this good in many years. It was loaded full of thinly sliced meat which was super tender and it had tons of delicious cheese. Honestly it was exactly how I hoped it would be. I am afraid I may have started an addiction. I hope to be back there very soon for my second round. Also, the young girl that took our order at the register was super sweet and awesome. And as I was walking to the restroom in the back (which was very clean I might add) I spoke to another employee and couldn’t help myself but tell her how fantastic our food was. She was so appreciative and so incredibly sweet. I would recommend this place to anyone who is craving a Philly cheesesteak or just good food in general. Oh, let me not forget about the fries. I thought the fries were fantastic. They are crinkle cut, seasoned well and nice and crispy. We will definitely be back and it will probably be soon.

A little slice of Philadelphia in Tucker. Food was delicious. Steak was just right wit onions and provolone. Great pickles. My only advice, you have a nice bar area. Use it to your advantage. Cashier could have easily been a bartender. They were very nice and helpful. Might have been a little extra profit and tip. A good spirit selection. We’ll definitely need to stop back

The food was great! Probably the closest thing you’ll get to a real Philly cheesesteak and authentic water ice. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken cheesesteak though — they use big chunks of chicken instead of chopping it up like in Philly. The pizza was okay, nothing special.

This is the best cheesesteak in Atlanta metro, hands down. Dave’s and Fred’s are both delicious, but this spot takes the tastycake (see what I did there?). I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper sharp and a side of the beef tallow fries. Unbelievably delicious. I can’t wait to try the Italian hoagie and water ice next time.

My only suggestion: add a little Iverson paraphernalia to the décor. He’s the king of Philly, after all…
