My wife loves salmon all sorts of ways so she got the Thai Chili Salmon. I’ve never seen her not eat all of her salmon and she left half. It wasn’t fishy, but it didn’t have a good flavor. Her mashed potatoes and gravy were great, though.
I got the liver and onions and they were just ok. What got me was that I paid extra for a baked sweet potato and it was maybe 3″ long and undercooked. I got very little potato out of it. But, the fried dill pickles were good.
We started with the pirogies and they were great.
We got some drinks and said we just wanted the regular spirits. They upcharged us $2 for each drink for Grey Goose even though we requested no specials. And my wife’s drink was supposed to be a fixed charge.
Bottom line – if we come back, we’ll just get the Chicken Fried Steak, which we heard was good.
Service was fairly good they forgot to bring us some things we asked for.
Took about 30 minutes to get food with a reservation.
The food was okay, but I don’t think it was worth the price. It was the worst prime rib I’ve ever had, and it was $28. Pricing for the specials is not advertised or shown conveniently.
Steak was overcooked, and salmon was dry.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the waiter made these 3 stars. Would’ve been 2 if they weren’t so kind.
They serve rolls with cold cinnamon butter, which is not great. but the rolls were yummy.
Thousand island dressing was homemade and quite yummy.
Accessibility ♿️: 0/5 stairs to entrances, tables are too low and too close together. Not appropriate bathroom. Parking is mostly across the street in a gravel area.
Kid friendly: they have high chairs, but I didn’t see a changing table. They have a kids’ menu, which is about $6-$8.
