So being im from southern California San Diego to be specific. I know quality Mexican Food for sure. Saw this place a few times and it reminded me of home so I decided to try it after about 2months of living here. The day after Christmas I went and the prices are similar so that was good. This region of Cali doesn’t have what I deem to be authentic Mexican food, after looking at the menu I felt I was at home! Long story short ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and it was smacking. Only reason I don’t give it 5stars for the food yet is because I only been once and gotta eat somewhere twice to say it wasn’t a fluke. The Burrito was really smacking tho and they had red and green hot sauce and the Burrito itself was chunky not small. Look forward to going back someday.

I’m not a hard person to please. But holy crap is this place garbage, and i’m still wondering how it’s open. So me and my wife went here last year and had a bad experience. We figured okay, it was a fluke today ordered some food for breakfast. It is the only 24hr mexican food to get your fixed at 5am. That being said, I paid $20 for a burrito, which is ridiculous.
Considering the fact that the cheese doesn’t even melt, and everything is still burnt and dry. Then I ordered the taquitos, they’re so overcooked, they can pass off as Tortilla chips. The meat it’s so dry. You need water, to be able to swallow it this is more strawberry, at least I see probe marks in my tequitoes, so I know they’re at least check in the temperature of my leather . Which leads me to my son’s bean? Burrito, how are you able to burn refried beans? And I mean, so much for the cheese, as it doesn’t melt.
Maybe i’m just hangry, but I should not be paying close to $50 for 3 items. To have them look and taste like my six-year-old. Tried to cook a meal

I only ever order a #24 from here, add beans! Even though it’s all I order, I come often at least two times a week. It’s my favorite breakfast after I drop my kids off at school. I get to enjoy myself bacon, egg, french fry, cheese, refried beans burrito so fire I love it! Flamaaaaa. Curbs the pregnancy nausea

My husband also enjoys their rolled tacos with sour cream and guacamole
The guy who took my order was very kind but my asada burritos came without onion and cilantro. I expect onion and cilantro on my mexican food. Disappointing their carne asada itself is pretty good but the burritos are left with way too much excess tortilla. I am not into eating hella tortilla. Not cool, not fair, learn how to put more beans and rice in it if you have to. I’d rather drive 45 to an hour away for a real burrito from Torres Tacos in Atwater. You will be glad you went, I promise Great prices as well. One of the best places in town and super good pricing.

I order one Quesabirria and one chicken tamale apparently to get good service you need to order more. The taco was soggy, had the bay leafs inside and the meat was salty

Walking in noticed how clean the place was and it smelled good. Friendly service and pice wasn’t too bad for 4 taco. Only negative thing was I see. The guy added a dollar for using my card but didn’t disclose that to me at all. Food was fresh and flavorful. I would come back again.

Always delicious! I ordered a chimichanga with a horchata and that cost me around 20 dollars, at first I was thinking I spent too much an wasn’t expecting much but their chimichangas are huge! I was beyond full and it was oh so delicious! I will definitely order again & this was a very clean establishment. Thank you El Forestero for your fast and professional service.
