Minnie’s is a quaint, small town dinerrestaurant that attracts locals and out of towners. The building itself is unique being wedged on the corner. It has the typical fare of eggs, meats, breads plus burgers and wraps. There are some creative lunch choices which is fun. Service is fast and friendly and the food is good.

This place is very comfortable and the service was good. They attempted to make their breakfast burrito vegetarian, but it lacked flavor. Normally there is meat in the burrito with the eggs and potato. And normally it would have been covered with sausage gravy. There were 3 small chunks of sausage in the gravy, but not enough to give it any flavor. It was a straight roux. It was a big burrito. Had the potatoes been drained and fried a little longer, it would have been much better. One thing it was not- was salty. I can appreciate that. There are other items on the menu that could be vegetarian or plant based such as French toast, pancakes, eggs, and possibly a few more but a breakfast burrito would really be a winner. I will give Minnie’s another try.

What a real treat likely the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Fluffy large pancakes with butter and syrup in a bottle not a thimble sized cup. The side of sausage was a nice addition. My wife’s cornbeef hash with eggs and raisin toast was equally delicious. The prices were very very competitive with any restaurants I have encountered eaten in for quite a while. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We have been here other times, and always got fast service. Today, we sat for 15 mins before the waitress even came to give us drinks. We sat another 15 mins and never was asked for our order. We walked out after paying for our drinks.. wont be going back there. Plus she had an attude..

Loved the food. Very uncomfortable waiting for a table if it’s busy. There’s no area for guests to sit while waiting for a table. You’re cramped by the door. Staff didn’t acknowledge anyone until they had a table cleaned so the hospitality was a bit off putting. Would love to go here again when its less busy.

Came to Allegan to the Secretary of State’s office from Fennville…was walking downtown and my stomach was growling. Passed Minnie’s and peeked in…had to walk and mull it over…let me just say the bacon cheeseburger was excellent, with fries and what I can only describe as the best Coke I have had in a while. Will be coming back again.
