As an asian perspective, This is probably worst Thai food I have ever had in New Zealand. Like usual when we go to every Thai’s restaurant, We ordered Tomyum soup which is literally worst, dissapointed both flavor as well as portion. Next two dishes were chicken cashew nut and seafood pad cha, they both did not have any of thai signature flavor also. Staffs did not presented to be helpful. Therefore, I do not recommend this restaurant to be a worth place to dine in when you stay in New Plymouth By the way, both cocktail and mocktail did not have anything special to be mentioned.

The flavors at this Thai restaurant were quite confusing. The Tom Yum seafood soup was overly salty with hardly any of the signature sweet-and-sour balance, and the portion was very small. The papaya salad had way more carrot than green papaya — it really should be called a carrot salad — and the taste was overwhelmingly sour. Every dish we ordered lacked balance and authenticity, which was quite disappointing.

We’ve been to New Plymouth before but this is the first time we tried this restaurant. Probably the best Thai food I had in New Zealand. Servings were in huge portions so great value for money. No reservations needed. I love their pad thai, calamari, tom yum fried rice, basically everything we ordered. Service was quick and staff were accommodating and patient.

Ordered Tom Kha soup. The portion was so small, just tiny! Never seen a soup bowl of such a small size – like seemingly less than 200 ml.
And some components are missing in the bowl. The menu states red onions should be in, but in fact they weren’t in the bowl. Might be other components differ from the menu too, it’s just what I noticed straight away.
Service and atmosphere are all right. But first time in my life I walked out hungry after having a Thai soup bowl!

The food is exceptional, the staff are lovely and attentive and the pricing is amazing. Have become a regular and I always order the red curry which is outstanding. Such good value for money and never disappoints

Had a lovely dinner here with my sister. Portions were a great size and the service was great and very quick. We shared the bao sliders starter (tasty but the sauce was a bit strong/overwhelming), massamun curry with vegetables and tofu with medium spice (not very spicy at all; flavor was fantastic!!), the egg net pad Thai with chicken (so yummy!), roti bread (came with a coconut peanut satay sauce that was flavorful but very strong peanut taste) for the main meal and shared the lychee lime sorbet and Thai iced tea ice cream for a sweet treat. Our favorites were the curry and the Thai iced tea ice cream!

Great place for Thai food, with flavourful dishes, generous portions, and good atmosphere. We got the green curry with chicken as well as the egg net pad Thai with beef. Our only comment would be that both dishes had too much meat and not enough vegetables in the curry or noodles in the pad Thai.

We went to the restaurant quite early in the evening.
The service was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly.
We had prawn crackers which were delicious, as well as sharing some calamari.
For the main I had the Pad Thai, which was excellent.
The food was reasonably priced, and there was a good selection on the menu.

Love all my ordered dishes, grilled fish with sweet and chilly sauce, roast duck salad & tom yum soup! Spacious dining space, friendly service! Highly recommend, must try if you are coming to New Plymouth.
