New Brookland Tavern was alright. Their music is hit-or-miss and the bar is mediocre at best – I was not impressed with their selection of beers or cocktails. They do have a pretty cool alleyway where you can stop and chat with other patrons. Overall, it’s an average bar and venue.

It was a very intimate show and the atmosphere was great. The show was awesome and we had a great experience. Plenty of free or meter parking around (meter parking us also free after a certain time). Would love to come back here again soon.

It’s the oldest, longest running music venue in the Columbia area for a reason. I’ve been going to shows here for a long time, and thankful for the effort that goes into keeping this place alive. After having not visited in a while, I recently went to two shows here. I was happy to see the updates that had been made, and enjoyed hearing music on the new sound system. Been to a couple concerts here now. It’s a great little venue. Small and intimate. There’s plenty of free parking nearby. The bar serves a wide selection of local and regional beers and is priced super reasonably for a concert venue. There’s a guy at a window in the outdoor area out back who also serves equally reasonably-priced food.
Looking forward to attending many more great shows here over the years.

I Just keft there they gave me greasy food. I specifically told cashier i wanted over well chicken and wing chips. It was greasy could not eat that. I paid 21.00 for quesadilla chicken, soda and wing chips. I need my money back. The chicken quesadilla was greasy too. Nobody wants all that grease. I am highly disappointed.

I can’t explain the love I have for this place. Each time I’ve gone for a concert the experience was AMAZING. For when the pits were forming, people would stop to help each other if they fell, the bands were just as caring. I wish I could formulate the happiness I’ve felt. I definitely recommend this place for others!
