From the moment you walk in, it feels less like entering a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and genuinely inviting.
But what really makes this place special is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most attentive people I’ve encountered at any restaurant. Throughout my meal, they checked in, made sure everything was perfect, and radiated genuine care and hospitality. You can tell they take pride in what they do and want every guest to have an amazing experience.
I ordered the Tom Yum and a salad for lunch, and oh my goodness—absolutely delicious. The Tom Yum had that perfect balance of spicy, sour, and aromatic flavors, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The salad was crisp and flavorful, the perfect complement to the soup.
If you’re looking for delicious Thai food served with genuine warmth and kindness, Reangthai is the place. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit.

You can taste the love and history being the food. Jewel was our server, everything was wonderful. Bold well rounded flavors, refined presentation, and a warm welcoming chef. The food almost moved me to tears. It truly feels as though you are being served dishes from a well renowned private chef. Chef Donna and Jewel are truly gems of Tallahassee. I’m shocked anything this high scale is here!!! It’s my new favorite restaurant. And I have ate out at a LOT of different places.

This was a wonderful night out to celebrate graduation. The service was so pleasant and efficient. She was very knowledgeable about the menu options and even gluten free choices. The food was fresh and delicious with beautiful presentation. The chef came out and checked on us and was just precious! The homemade ice cream and custard was also amazing. The only note of caution I would add is to ask for the menu or prices before you order a special. I was a little surprised by the prices of the specials when the bill came. But no regrets, great experience and highly recommended!

Service was outstanding. The owner and chef Donna is so kind and greeted us and checked on us several times. Waiters were very attentive and respectful. Food had awesome flavor and fresh as can be ! Husband had the curry and I had chicken pad see ew. Our Entrees were 18.99. Came out steaming hot ! Good portions, had leftovers to take home. Don’t skip the dairy free ice homemade Thai ice cream. We got pineapple lemon and it was so refreshing after the spice. She has a whole list of flavors. Place is very authentic and we are very picky about our Thai food. Peaceful music playing. Please support a small business, just celebrated 30 years in Tallahassee.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It was a busy day for them and there was quite a long wait time (However, they apologized mentioning that they were understaffed the time I visited. So, I don’t think it’s something to worry about).
I am not completely satisfied with the taste and the portion size. Some of my friends loved it. I am assuming that’s the traditional taste of Thai food.
I recommend visiting the place.

We were passing though town on a road trip and stopped here for an evening meal. We love Thai food and this place really hit the spot with great flavour.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They also took the time to offer advice and interest in our trip.
We didn’t try their home made ice cream as we were too full, but it sounded fantastic.

Probably one of the best Pad Thai dishes I’ve ever eaten. Authentically prepared by owner and chef – this is a MUST go, if you love Thai – the homemade coconut ice cream desserts were insane!!!! Our whole group was very pleased with the entire meal/service.

We found this restaurant through a recommendation at the Four Points Sheraton by the FSU campus. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall and there’s been a lot of care and love put into the restaurant by the owner, giving it a pleasing, homey atmosphere. The most impressive part was the service and FOOD. It was delicious! The server brought us out a complementary seasonal salad made of shredded pumpkin, cilantro, lime and garlic. Light, refreshing and scrumptious! My student companions ate chicken pad Thai which they loved and I had the beef salad. The beef was tender and the lettuce and veggies were all very fresh, coated with a spicy and delicious dressing. We topped it all off with sticky rice and mango. We REALLY enjoyed our meal and were disappointed to see that more people were not patronizing the restaurant on the Thursday night we were there as the quality was very good and the servers and chef/owner were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant when you’re visiting Tallahassee!
