I first went to Hunan when I was 12 with my family, I’m now 19 and this is now a special place my partner and I eat at. Never had a negative experience. Meat is always cooked fantastically, I personally hate beef but oh my…… the way they cook beef here is just irresistible.

When it was a full service restaurant with buffet the food was always Amazing. We have gotten take out several times since they have been take out only and it has been good but today that all changed with 2 chicken sweet n sour combos, 1 veggie lowmein combo and a lg hot n sour soup. We drove home to Bellaire to find out our much anticipated food was not cook completely egg rolls were gummy on the inside, soup was goupy, consistency of snot and the chicken breading was mushy on the inside, we have never had this happen before so I called spoke with the manage Chris he said hed need to speak with the owner and have him call me since we were home already , I never called back. So I had to call the agai and is only solution was for us to bring the food back to Traverse City considering it’s a 40 minute drive each way that seems to be a bit much to expect so much for customer service.

We ordered this thru Uber Eats. Sesame Chicken with white rice. House Fried Rice. Egg rolls and Rangoon. Everything was very fresh and hot when received. Amazing flavor and good sized portions. We will order again.

My girlfriend and both enjoyed our experience here! We both agreed that this is our new place we will go to when we want Chinese food! I got the Empress chicken and she got the Hunan chicken. It was so good! The crab Rangoons are the best we’ve had in a long time, they had so much flavor! The only thing is, we wish they labeled the food! It was great, we can’t wait to go back!

Worst food ever!!! Couldn’t even eat anything we ordered the taste was so foul! The sweet and sour sauce was like hard jello. I called to question the consistency and was told to try heating in microwave! Also none of the meals came with the rice we ordered. An hour after tasting our rotten food we (4 people) started feeling ill. We all ended up with food poisoning! I later went to the takeout window to let them know we got sick and they refused to do ANYTHING!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL FILTHY ROTTED HIDEOUS EXCUSE FOR FOOD PLACE. SAVE YOURSELF/SELVES FROM AN AWFUL BOUT WITH GASTRITIS!!!! (FOOD POISONING!)
