This buffet has stepped it up and was really good! We’ve been here previously, about 8 months ago, and were undecided on how we felt about it so we decided we’d try again at 7pm on 12/29 and I’m so glad we did because it was delicious! The coconut shrimp, crab rangoon, sesame chicken and rice were my favorite, my kids loved both kinds of noodles and that they had sushi, fruit, and ice cream. They had a good variety of the stuff we like. On our first visit, they weren’t replenishing and temperatures of foods were off but on this visit everything was being replenished and what was supposed to be hot was hot and what was supposed to be cold was cold. The waitress kept our drinks refilled and empty plates taken away. We usually only go to Blossom, Forest or Eastern (in that order) but they get expensive for a family of 4. After this visit we will definitely add Tokyo to our list more often because they’re closer to Chapin and much more affordable at $15 a person, drinks are $2.49 if you want something besides water. I’m so glad we gave them another chance…yummy food, good service, full bellies and no upset tummies.

Not so attractive from the outside, plenty of parking. Sat immediately, got a water and never saw a waiter again, which isn’t that big a deal at a buffet.

It’s more Chinese than Japanese, But it’s all the standard buffet fare. All executed fine but nothing special (except which wasn’t very good), less selection than some places but it’s also cheaper than most so it works out. I’ll go back.

I enjoyed eating here. I’m surprise the food flavor is on the point! The color of the food is good as well.
Very simple basic buffet dishes but good enough to make my belly full and feeling comfort.
If you just want to stop by for a cozy quick buffet, this is a good place. Mostly meat protein, egg roll, lo mein noddle , fruits and some sushi and ice cream.
Lunch is 11.99 , good parking space.

Food was cold, no flavor and just blah. My stomach is playing double Dutch. I ate rice, lo mein, vegetable egg rolls and 2 chicken wings.
Family of 5, total was $74. Understand it was a buffet price. No one ate 1 plate of food. More upset we tried a new restaurant. It’s all good, add to our list of where not to eat.
My 2 cents, save your money and eat somewhere else.

This used to be my favorite buffet spot. I loved the hibachi, but I definitely should have checked the buffet before sitting down to eat. They have a very limited selection now and no hibachi. The food was maybe room temperature to cool. Service has always been ok.

We usually go to forest buffet or jasmine or blossom buffet. We wanted to try somewhere different and close to us as we were too hungry. Didn’t know the price was $15 something.
The place looked old, foods looked bad and oily..
Surprisingly the taste of food was good, but my stomach went bad next day.
Lesson learned: always go for a high rated reviews with many customers reviewed. No matter how far it is or hungry u r when going for a buffet.

Definitely not worth the price they’re charging for such a small buffet selection but an oversized seating area. The food options are severely limited for a buffet and the food didn’t taste fresh at all. The Hibiachi was closed I guess, there wasn’t a very clear indication of what was happening. Lots of areas darkened with a vast amount of boxes stacked inside them. Don’t recommend this place at all. There are better buffets out there.

They don’t have bad quality, just lacking in good quality, and I thought the selection was very scant. Some of the staples, I’d expect to see in Cantonese cuisine wasn’t present. Some of the people saying “great quality” in these reviews, have no idea what good quality is.
I can’t get past the evidently lazy practices of some restaurants who take shortcut after shortcut, sacrificing the quality and this was one of those such places. I don’t know how some “Chinese Buffet’s” get away with it. The taste and flavor is just missing…
On a positive note, they had my two favorite ice-creams which I got “dip” myself, right after the snot-nosed 6-YO finished dipping his. Hello, parents?!
