I discovered this place the other day while driving around and just had to check it out. Had no idea they’ve been at this location since February. They obviously have hotdogs but they also have pizza and calzones. A customer that was sitting inside told me the calzones are really good.
I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted and was told to try the Coney first and that the sauce is homemade and was a little sweet. Delicious though. I was told if I wanted to get a pizza it would take about 20 minutes but the hotdogs are made to order and much quicker.
I was also convinced to get two hotdogs because of a December special lol two hotdogs a drink and chips for $10 which is a good deal. So I got a Coney and then a Polish sausage with sauerkraut and it was so good.
If you haven’t checked this place out yet, please check it out because it’s delicious and the service is excellent. I don’t know if the gentleman that took care of my order was the owner or what but he was really really nice and very welcoming.

We had an Absolutely fabulous experience and we will definitely be back again.
The food was great, you get a nice thick hotdog with good quality toppings.
Great value too, I got the January special which was two hot dogs (coney dogs, kraut dogs etc.) a pop and a bag of chips for 10$. Where else can you get a deal like that?? Not even at most fast food places anymore!
And the folks who were working there (I would assume the owner and his wife?) were SO NICE to us. I think that people underestimate how mock people value that. I will drive out of my way to go somewhere where I know the food is good and the people are super nice. He asked how we were doing, joked around with us and explained everything really patiently.
I just love being somewhere where you can tell the people are passionate about what they are doing. 10/10 thank you for the good meal!

What a wonderful cozy hotdog stand!!! Though they sell more than just hotdogs, my kids and I of course had to try the dogs. Absolutely delicious, large, and all beef. The Coney Dog was excellent! My kids stated that these “Are the best hotdogs EVER!”
The service…..THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Quick, attentive, extremely kind, and caring!

In these hard economic times, if you’re struggling to find a good bite that doesn’t make you feel like you need to take out a small loan, look no further than JD’s Gourmet Dogs.
Stopped in yesterday and tried the all-beef dog and the Italian sausage. Both were delicious, but the all-beef was hands-down my favorite.
Had a great conversation with the owner while I was there — friendly, radiant, and clearly loves what he’s doing. He joked, “If you don’t like it, don’t tell anyone.” But trust me, he didn’t need to worry about that.
Two dogs for $10 with chips and a drink at lunch? That’s basically recession-proof dining. JD’s Gourmet Dogs for the win.

Amazing establishment, we’ve never been there before and the first time we went, he explained exactly how it worked, which toppings they had available, and was super helpful with the options available! The food was amazing, I got a coney dog with coleslaw and my wife got the Mac and cheese with beans, and we ate both within 3 minutes easy lol very supportive of military and veterans.

Save your tastebuds & cash… place served me a hotdog that lacked flavor. Mine must have been sitting in the water a long time because it had a grey color which I noticed halfway through. I was worried about getting ill. Luckily, I did not. Will not go back!

I finally got to check out the new location and try the pizza! I already knew the customer service would be amazing (and it was) because that’s the standard that has been set.
I tried the deal of the month and received a personal sized pizza with unlimited toppings, a bag of chips and a can of pop for $10. That’s an unheard of deal! The pizza was soft with just a light crispiness on the bottom. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were generous and good quality and it had a nice seasoning as well. Overall it was delicious! I will absolutely be back.

The staff is great but the hot dog and sausage quality is poor. The buns are regular store bought buns which get extremely soggy with toppings. Dogs are worth about $2-$3 at best. To simplify things, there’s not enough effort put into the food to go out of your way for the price. For $12 you could do much better at home and have much more.
