Such a lovely little spot. Steak was cooked very well, paella was beautiful. Started portions are small but that’s expected. Great for a small group booking if you’re looking for something that feels intimate

We went over to Rudy’s for birthday lunch of my son this Saturday. We had made reservations and we’re promptly seated. There were six of us including a child. However, it took 1 hour 20minutes to be served. We asked for atleast fries in advance as the child was hungry. But nothing came ahead. For lunch ordered burgers which was just alright, fish and chips which was ok and tacos which was pathetic. It was not even tacos but wraps cut into smaller pieces and grilled with some prawns and bare minimum coleslaw. I ended up just eating the prawns and wasting the rest. The best thing we ate were the potato wedges. The staff acknowledged the delay and waived off the drinks bill and charged us only for the food; this was kind but overall experience was a let down due to delayed service and poor food, especially when we were out celebrating an occasion and looking forward to having a memorable time.

Lovely Lunch with my Parents for their wedding anniversary, been looking forward to trying the food and it was amazing. The steak sandwich was unreal, food is fresh and amazing service by the waitress, her attention to detail. I will definately return very soon

Cauliflower Steak is amazing, perfectly blended with spices.
Vegetarian pasta is flavoured well with sauces, fresh cheese.
It is costly as per the quantity. Dishes were quite high priced.

I love the way how they handle the tiger prawn so much . Fresh , not over cook , remains the prawn bouncy and tender . And the house Malbec is remarkable , although it’s 14.5% ABV but you can’t find any harsh form it , but fruity and fragrance .
Will definitely comeback, cheers .

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share this as I was genuinely disappointed, especially because Rudys used to be one of my go-to local restaurants.
I visited Rudys for lunch last weekend. It has always been a place I trusted for good food, which made this experience a letdown. We ordered the full Irish breakfast plate and the spicy king prawn taco.
The full Irish brea was slightly different than what it used to be. It was served on a regular plate instead of the iron plate and the overall quality didn’t seem as good as good before.
But the prawn taco didn’t work at all.
Instead of the fresh salad, sour cream and salsa-style sauce it normally comes with, it was completely full of purple cabbage coleslaw. The prawns and the purple cabbage coleslaw had no real balance in flavour and it didn’t feel like a taco. The mayonnaise was quite heavy and made the dish feel greasy
Even the small details felt different. In the past, when asking for ketchup, we were given what seemed like a house-made version with a nicer flavour. This time, it was just regular ketchup.
I didn’t complain on the day as I don’t plan to return, but it was disappointing to see the quality and attention drop at a local restaurant I used to really enjoy. I’m leaving this review out of disappointment rather than anger, and I hope the food improves again in the future.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The chefs are incredibly talented, and everyone working in the kitchen and the front-of-house team are so friendly and welcoming. I had a cauliflower soup that was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had it was delicious. All the other dishes I’ve tried here have also been consistently impeccable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointed with the seafood paella — it tasted like tomato soup or risotto, not a paella. The rice was overcooked, and the price for that dish was not worth it. We’ve been here a few times, but this visit will be our last. Not recommended.

Food was really tasty, but the portion size was very small. Had the beef ravioli which I really enjoyed, very little beef filling and a very small serving. Guest had the cod, again quite nice but a small portion.
Dessert was OK.
Overpriced for what we got.

You really must go here! The place is easily accessible and clearly identified. The staff members were really pleasant! That day, a blonde waitress was working there, and she was really sweet and accommodating—so much so that she agreed to take a picture of our family! I ordered the braised beef ribs with smashed potatoes and the spicy chicken wings with fries, and both dishes were incredibly wonderful. The beef was incredibly tender and soft! The dessert was also really tasty! Although the restaurant isn’t large and can get crowded during peak hours, but it’s still worth going. Because of how dark it is inside the restaurant, I took both flash and non-flash photographs.
