1st timer to the restaurant . Here in town doing some work at the local hospital. The reviews looked good online. 4 of us decided to go and try some LOU-MEX food. The staff was nice. The place was a small restaurant in a plaza. The salsa and chip tasted good. I asked for some green salsa ($4.00). Did not know they charged for it until I got my bill. The amount of green sauce was about 4 chip scoops. Disappointed. I received my food. Chile con carne. I was even more disappointed with the quality and flavor of the food. Did not have a good flavor. The rice and beans had no flavor or seasoning. Bland food. My buddy ordered mix fajitas which looked like they were yesterday food and just reheated them today. They were just burnt. The onions and veggies just over cooked. Over priced for the food quality. I would not recommend a place like this to anyone. Good luck if you go. Maybe it will be a better for you.

All of our entrees were out within about ten minutes, but the appetizer we ordered, Chili Relleno, came out to us once we were almost done with our entrees. Personally the Chili Relleno were too soggy; however, the other three at my table all loved them so I was the odd one out for those. Everyone at our table absolutely loved the Birria tacos and quesadillas. I recommend the Birria Quesadillas because you get A LOT more food than the Birria tacos and the Birria Quesadillas are only ~$2 more than the tacos. We each received three Birria tacos, which were small, compared to the two, rather large/thick, Birria Quesadillas.
Overall, we had a great experience and the staff did a great job! My lunch crew definitely plan to be back in the near future.

They charge more if you don’t pay with cash. Food was not good. Prices were ridiculous for the quality of food.

This one’s tough. Im from Texas, where we have standards for mexican/texmex food. I ordered the Carne Asada, and it was maybe 1/4″ thick, super tough, and cover with a tomato sauce…. the queso was thinner than water.
